im new to the board and wondering, can you purchase priority seating at DL or get prior to leaving . i have purchased my character meals, and booked BBB for my daughter but unsure to send the extra money for a great view and dessert. the size of the crowds worry me with a 6 yr old and wonder if i should buy it when im there. is it the same price for childern? cant wait. been over 15 yrs since i was last there!! vicky

Problem with buying it while your there.......it may be sold out. Priority seating for Fantasmic can be sold 30 days from the date of the show.....and they do sell out regularly- particularly the 9:30 shows.

If you really want to do it book it asap.

Adults are $59. Children under 12 are $49.

Pomlover2586 answered your question about booking once you get to DLR. They may have open spots, but you just never know about a given date. You may try calling and asking how many spots are still available for the night you are considering.

Everyone has a different opinion about Fantasmic! reserved seating. I personally think that it would be more fun for a kid to be with the masses to enjoy the show as opposed to sitting in the reserved area. The dessert box is amazing, but, I think a lot can be said for the experience - and I personally think Fantasmic is more fun with the crowd. Just my 2 cents on that.

Have fun whatever you decide! It's an amazing show.

Just make sure you understand that there is no refund once booked. We always do F seating just can not stand the sometimes very rude masses.

Well... I can only speak from my very limited experience (our first trip was last year!), so take my advice for what it is worth. Last year we went to see Fantasmic on the first night after it reopened from rehab. At first I thought we would get the buffet, to secure a spot. But then we decided against it because we weren't sure if our kids could make it that late (it was the last night of our trip). Instead, we lined up about 1 1/2 hours before the event. We were the first line of "standers" (as opposed to "sitters") and we really found that the time went quickly and the crowds were very friendly. We each left a few times to take kids to the bathroom, etc... and I went to the bake shop near the Winnie the Pooh ride and bought some gigantic cupcakes so we could have our own dessert buffet. It was a lot cheaper and really, I thought that it went pretty smoothly considering it was the first night it had reopened after a long hiatus. We are going again in Nov and while I am tempted by the official dessert buffet option, I think we will just line up early again to save a few bucks.

I just a small point, it is not a buffet. You get dessert boxes with goodies. My kids save there $$ just to do this. We go in August and trust me by the time the show starts, many people staked out for 3 hours and everyone being hot, sweaty+, I will do the seating any day of the week.

DH HATES sitting on the ground. We first did this on our Novmeber trip when we took DMIL for her first visit. She has bad knees so camping out was not an option. It was so nice to sit down after a long day, have someone serves you multiple drinks and the yummy snacks that lasted us 3 days. You forget how much running around you do. We each had about 3 drinks each BEFORE the show even started!. We will be doing this again on our next trip in November. My DD loved the feeling of being a VIP :cool1: She really thought she was too cool!

Disney considers kids adults at 10 for ticket and character meal prices. Is it really $49 for kids 12 and under. I am seriously thinking about doing this for our trip at the end of the month. I assumed ds(11) was an adult.

wow everyone is so helpful
hmm another thing to consider is that ill be alone with daughter so what would happen with a bathroom break. may loose seat:( priority is looking that much better :) as i am also unsure if daughter will last that late i think ill take a chance and wait until i get there. thanks again
