Not sure if this question has been asked before but here it goes. We are trying to print our own invitations and DF is not happy with the printer I have. What kind of printer did you use? Any suggestions?? Thanks in advance!!!!

I retouch and print photos in a professional photography studio, and from my experience, Epson makes the best printers.

My advice is to not opt for the "all in one" gimmic that includes a scanner and a fax machine. When you have three different devices in one machine, then you have three mediocre devices, rather than one really good printer.

Laser printers are popular for fast, pretty images. However, if you want an artistic invitation, then inkjet is the way to go. Inkjet printers allow for larger paper. Also, laser printers will "fry" some specialty papers. Because laser printers load from the bottom, the paper is twisted up inside and it comes out bent.

So, my advice - Epson Inkjet.

Or just grab your designs and take it to a fed ex/ kinkos or even staples. they do great work there....

I purchased a Yudu and a L letterpress machine to make my invitations. I've been working on smaller projects so far like bags and stuff. But I think the suggestion for you to take them to a printer is a good one.
