PrincessJasmine's Vegetarian Reviews (with some pictures)

Day 4

Breakfast: Breakfast was at the POP Century food court yet again! I had a breakfast burrito. This is normally a tortilla with scrambled eggs, bacon, and cheese. I of course got it without the bacon which was no problem. It came with breakfast potatoes. This may have been my favorite meal I had at the food court. Maybe I was just really hungry, but it was absolutely delicious. They gave me double cheese since I wasn't getting bacon, maybe that had something to do with it! :rotfl: I know I already said this, but I just LOVE the Pop food court. I love all the huge icons and the music that they play, it was just so Disney! :goodvibes

Lunch: We decided to head over to Saratoga Springs to walk around a bit and get something to eat. We have stayed here a couple of times and it is a beautiful property so we just wanted to visit. We headed into Animator's Palette for lunch. This is Saratoga Spring's counter service location. I got the 4 cheese flatbread and a side salad. For counter service, Animator's Palette is great! The flatbread was very crisp and flavorful-I loved it. The side salad was fine too, just a normal salad.

Dinner: Tonight we had reservations at Coral Reef. I had never eaten here before. We checked in for our ADR a few minutes early and sat down to wait. We waited almost 30 minutes, it was packed in there. We were given a table very close to the aquarium which was fun to watch! Although, I have to wonder how people eat the fish that they see swimming right in front of them! There was only one vegetarian option here. It was a vegetable struesel, so that is of course what I got. First I had a salad, which was good. The streudel was filled with lentils, mushrooms, carmelized onions, zucchini, and squash topped with goat cheese. This is where I got really frustrated that there was only one veggie option. WHY do people who eat meat get 5 or 6 choices while those who don't are limited to 1. Doesn't make sense to me. I got particularly frustrated because I didn't really care for this entree, but it wasn't like there was anything else I could get. Anyway, here's what it looked like:

I had butterscotch creme brulee for dessert which made up for the meal, it was excellent.

Service here was only okay. Our waitress was perfectly nice and I could tell she was trying really hard, but it was evident that she was extremely over-worked. Our drinks were never refilled unless we asked and it was a very slow dinner. Despite the fact that I really enjoyed the atmosphere and the dessert we will not return here unless they get more vegetarian options as I did not care for the streudel.

Thank you for the vegetarian reviews. I have been an ovo-lacto myself for 13 years, but recently added fish (although if fills me with guilt :guilty: ).

I also love LTT and found that I am more than completely stuffed with just the sides. But there's always room for dessert. That apple cobbler is so yummy!
