Thanks for the link, I'll give them a try. I get most of mine from www.teavana.com. Their Moroccan Mint is excellent. I am on a search for a White Mandarin tea...I have never seen it for sale anywhere and it is my absolute favorite!

Hmmm, tried Googling "white mandarin tea" and nothing. There are lots of varieties of white chinese tea. Where did you have it? Do they have a more specific name?

Thanks for the entertaining and informative food thread! I am glad we avoided Chef's de France, dh would have never let me do the dining drag around again if he would have had to endure that. He doesnt care how it looks if it tastes good. Thanks!

Glad you enjoyed it. I was really bummed that Bistro was not better. I had higher hopes but no matter how pretty it is, if it doesn't have much taste there is not much point. Honestly for the price of a mediocre dinner for 3, we could have done Victoria & Albert with wine pairings for two which would have ROCKED! I don't mind spending the money as long as I feel I am getting good value and for me that means the taste not the amount of courses or portion sizes.

PrincessAurora,
I found a place that sells the Lion Bar, 48 candy bars for only $30.6889 in U.S. currency or a pack of 4 for $3.01851 U.S. Dollars. It also has the Flyte candy bar as well, 1 bar for only $1.29091 U.S. currency or 36 bars for $26.1546 U.S. Dollars.

A bargain compared to what you paid at EPCOT. :teeth:

Thanks for the fabulous reviews. I loved the pictures. Its so nice to see a picture of the dish your describing. Between you and Mr.Disney the bar is set incredibly high for the rest of us. I'm afraid to write reviews for our April trip. ;)

Mr. Disney and UncleRomulus are my food idols. I really like doing the food reviews as well as the trip reports. I know it helps me when I see something and then I think "Wow, I should eat there next time and order that!". Can't wait for your food report.

I wanted to get some dessert like the bread and butter pudding but Grumpy declared that all the desserts sucked. Don't listen to Grumpy, he is grumpy. So to keep the peace, I didn't push the dessert issue.

Too bad .. because the bread and butter pudding WOULD have made you cry. It was probably the best dessert I've had on property -- and I've made obscene noises over the chocolate beggar purses at Jiko!

Loved your food porn!

Your reviews are beyond fantastic!

Because of your Arkershus review, I reserved dinner at Arkershus on our Epcot day during our upcoming trip in March. Thanks so much! :cool1:

Thank you Princess Aurora!!! I can't wait until Sunday!!! :cheer2:

swandiverpatt - glad you enjoyed it. I will definatly try the bread pudding the next time when I am there sans grumpy

mamaprincess - hope you enjoy your dinner as much as I did. I can't wait until my next trip as I will be booking this again.

Aquagirl - have a great time on Sunday. If you drink, the citricos Bellini is really yummy. peaches and raspberries blended with champagne.

DRINKS AND SNACKS
JAPAN - sake, mmmmmm hot sake. Now this is a good buzz. Just don't pair it with Kaki Gori as the flavors don't mix. Kaki Gori is a japanese snowcone. The rainbow is the best with stripes of strawberry, melon and tangerine. YUMMY. So very refreshing. Just no sake with it. Have the saki later. It can be confusing because they are sold out of the same cart and if you get the saki first and start pounding saki's you can be in a lot of trouble. I mean Cast Members pulling your donkey out of the lake trouble as you try to swim home.

:rotfl2: :rotfl:
That is HALARIOUS, loved your reviews, this was the "topper" for me. I'll have to try the snowcone, and the saki.

Loved your reviews. I completely concur with the food in the French Pavillion. We had a very mediocre dining experience at Chefs. We went with excitement, left disappointed. We did like the cheeses we got & the desserts, but the rest of the meal was just BLAND, BLAND, BLAND. Perfectly cooked & presented but entirely flavorless.... I was hoping Bistro might be better but I think I'll just steer clear of France altogether....

Now, if you want food in WDW that makes you cry - Get Thee to BlueZoo. It's orgasmically delicious.

France is overrated. I will be trying BlueZoo. My next trip in 2007 is shorter so we probably wont fit it in but I will DEFINATLY go for my first solo trip in 2008. Boy, I'm going to have to start selling a kidney to pay for these trips.

If you eat NOTHING else on your 2007 trip, eat at least apps at BlueZoo. You will not regret it.

I'm going on a severe budget trip next month - Budget or no, I will not leave Orlando without eating at BlueZoo. I'll sell the kidney! lol

LOVE, LOVE, LOVE YOUR FOOD REPORT. I just finished reading your report and it was so much fun reading. Thanks so much for the info on the Tea Caddy in the AK, it sounds like a great place. I love drinking different teas, so this sounds like a great place. I just hope that a lot of folks visit it so it will stay open. I have to agree with about Rice Cream, it is so good. I was wishing I had some while I was reading your report. I am loving you trip report also. :)
