I think for MW that the themes came out like a week (or 4 days?) before club rD registration opened. For whatever that's worth. I'm guessing we will see themes late next week.

Releasing themes before registration opens is a relatively new practice since I've been doing RunDisney races. I started running them in 2016 and it was the norm to go into registration with no knowledge of what the themes would be for most race weekends. I could be misremembering, but it seems like the current trend of revealing the themes early has only really started with the post-pandemic races. It'll be interesting to see if they revert to the previous practice as things get more "normal".

That's the way it was when I did PW in 2019. We signed up for the distance and then in December maybe, rD posted the medal designs and that let us all know who the Princess reps were.

General registration: 4/19/22

So the matching Princess 2023 date would be 6/9/22 (next Thursday).

Wine and Dine 2022 Themes: 2/22/22 (link)
Club runDisney registration: 3/15/22
General registration: 3/22/22

So the matching Princess 2023 date would have been 5/31/22 (this past Tuesday).

So we're in the general window based on the last two weekends for the runDisney webpage to be updated.

Yep, they started revealing before registration when they launched the virtual races during Covid (aside from the previously existing virtual summer series). Then continued it with the companion virtual races. It makes sense because the main reason most people sign up for virtuals is the swag. Those are pure profit for rD so I don't see that going away soon.

Usually, and this past registration was not usual, you have to be pretty quick to get the 5K. I think last years went in 17 minutes or so. It's definitely doable. Just be ready at registration time, make sure your account is created and logged in, and fill out the information quickly. Keep in mind that you can change your estimated finish time and shirt sizes later if you want. Just click through quickly.

No. Club RunDisney benefits don't start until October or so, so they wouldn't be active for the upcoming Princess registration. It doesn't look like Silver members get guaranteed race registration anyway, so membership wouldn't help with registration anyway.

As the previous post said, club benefits won't help you for this registration regardless and silver never gets your early registration

Last year (2022) Princess 5k sold out in roughly 2 days (link). Although I do suspect the 2023 races will sell out faster than 2022. What I posted a few weeks ago:

Ignoring the registrations that we believe had reduced capacity, W&D 2022 sold out faster than 2017, 2019, and 2021. And MW 2023 sold out faster than 2017, 2018, 2019, 2020, and 2022. So both of these would suggest that Princess 2023 is probably more likely to sell faster than anything in the less several years.

Club Run Disney, not just "rundisney", to be clear.
But like others have said, membership doesn't help with Princess 2023.

They have updated the header of the virtual races. Jasmine 5k, Belle 10k, Moana half, and Cinderella challenge.

Noooo. I wish Cinderella was 5k (or not there at all) and Jasmine was challenge! I know Cinderella was 5k last year… ugh. Why is she even back.

Jasmine, Belle, and Moana are literally my three favorites though sooo I guess I am trying to register for everything!
