We have a PS to go to the Norway Princess Storybook Breakfast on my DD birthday - and after reading the reviews on wdwig.com - I am a little nervous (Some good some really bad). Should I worry? Is the food that bad? Do I need to get in the first section to see the princesses in a timely manner (we have 2 DD - 4 yr old - bday - and a 1 1/2 yr old - don't want them getting so antsy.) Should I try to book for another place? Our reservation is for 8:30 am, anyone else with a reservation at the time know when the Princess come out? Should we get there around 8:20 and request the first section?

I know a lot of questions, Thanks for all your answers in advance,

Dave

We just did this breakfast last week. We were seated in the middle section, but I thought the princesses got to us in a fairly timely mannner. Also, my 5 year old daughter liked watching the princesses walk across the room. I honestly was a little disappointed in the food(eggs kind of soggy, bacon not so crispy), but when my daughter said "mom, look , its the REAL Jasmine", I knew the breakfast was worth every penny......
We got to see Snow White, Belle, Mulan, Jasmine, and Princess Auora and I thought the interaction was very good. Even my 9 year old son enjoyed it. Go for the experience, just don't expect gourmet food.

P.S. If you want a good breakfast, eat at Boma at AKL!

Lulukiddle, what day were you there? Dd and I went on 4/29 and saw the same princesses.

In our experience, the bacon was fine, but the eggs were powder dry. However, the one skillet they brought us provided plenty of food for dd and I, we shared the bacon and potatoes (yum!), she ate a waffle ... we were fine. A larger party might have had a problem. We never even tried the sausage, it just *looked* bad.

Ravens fan, our PS was for 10, but we got there quite early - maybe 9:35 even. They took us in at 9:50 and we got into the first section, so I believe it is handled by arrival, not original PS time. We were able to eat quite a bit before any princess arrived, so that worked out well.

Good luck!

Our food was great.... especially the potatoes.. they were cheesy/oniony.. yumm!

We did not have waffles (as previous poster did) we had French Toast Sticks

The princesses were friendly, gracious & beautiful... they are very good with questions - they seemed "prepared" for anything.

We've done both the Princess Breakfast in Norway and CRT.

My DH thinks the food is better @ the Princess Breakfast. He actually dislikes the food @ CRT. :(

Personally, I'm not a big lover of breakfast so all breakfast food is kinda blech to me. Also, at the character meals I'm too busy getting ready to take pictures of DD to worry about eating!

At the Princess breakfast in Norway we sat along the wall - by the restaurant's front windows - about midway between the front door and the door where the princesses enter from. DD had a straight view of the door and would have me guess which princess was next since my back was to the door.

They made the rounds with no problems at all - timing was good I thought.

Dandelion,
We were there on 5/1. Our PS was for 9:50. I think we got there about 9:45 and were not called untiil 10:15. So, you may be right-perhaps they take you in order that you check in. I do agree with you about the potatoes-they were yummy!

LOL Em'sMom, we enjoyed the food at CRT so much we wished we could have gone another time. My dad is really hard to please and he made several comments throughout the trip how much he enjoyed that breakfast.

Again at CRT, the food came to our table right away, piping hot. But the princesses came right away too, all in a row, so our food was cold by the time we were done with them! LOL It was still good. :)

Never been to the Norway princess breakfast but I say give it a try. CRT got alot of bad publicity and we loved it. Different strokes for different folks.

jenjie -

The first time we did CRT was in 2000 with my in-laws. They loved it! They still talk about it even today. I think mostly my FIL talks about it because Jasmine was there and he really liked her. ;) (So did DH)
Aladdin also came over but DD (she was 3 at the time) was too shy to even look at him. My MIL jumped up and hugged Aladdin so we have a picture of them together. :p

I just love being in the castle. I've never tried lunch or dinner there - maybe this trip? :D

LOL! My dad was hooked once our waitress started calling him "m'lord".

Just at PSB on 5/4 for 8:30am. They do not let you into EPCOT until about 8:15am and it is a race to the restaurant. They did seem to seat folks fairly fast and we had a few minutes to eat and then the princesses, Mulan. Jasmine, Princess Aurora, Belle and Mary Poppins were there. We were out of there by 9:20am. The food was pretty good except for the waffles that were really dry. Also the skillet is for about 4 people max if you have more you will need more than 1 skillet.
