From the description, Im a lil confused :confused3 is it a buffet, family style or do you order off a menu? Also I would love your reviews. We have never eaten here before and I am on the fence whether or not to drop it. Thanks for all your help :thumbsup2

If it makes a difference, it's a dinner ressie.

You get to eat from the cold bar buffet, kind of like an appetizer (even on DDP). This has peel & eat shrimp, cold cuts, cheeses, different types of salads. Then, each person also orders an entree off of the menu. Lastly, the dessert is served family-style, where you all share three different items.

This will be our first time to eat dinner here, but we have friends who highly recommend the salmon.

Exactly as bamagirl described for lunch (my own personal experience) had a koldbord which was like a slightly enlarged salad bar. It had the usual trappings (salad makings, fruits, assorted veggies for toppings, cheeses and even some cold cuts--I can't remember the shrimp:confused3..but perhaps that's because there was such a lot to choose from:goodvibes). The entrees were served by the staff as was the dessert. There was a rice pudding/cream part that was heavenly:cloud9: I had the big meatball thingie (can't remember the name of it, and if I could, I don't think I could spell it) and liked it. Everyone in our party had something different and it was good.

What is GREAT is the princesses' interactions. We had plenty of time for photos and conversation with each. princess:

I hope you have as good of a visit as we did.

I was wondering the same thing. We are going there for breakfast, and from some of the pictures that I've seen, it looks like there is a mini-buffet with cereal and pastries. I have a couple of picky eaters that won't eat something that "touches" something that they don't like. Does anyone know if they will bring out separate plates with just bacon and french toast sticks for the kids?

For breakfast, there is still a small cold buffet that has fruits, cheeses, etc. for everyone. It's not very big; I just got some fresh fruit. Then at the table, it's served family style: cheesy hashbrowns, scrambled eggs, bacon and sausage. And you also get a drink like orange juice, milk, or coffee. I personally had the juice--which was watered down (Chef Mickey's juice was very good!). You can ask for separate plates for the food if you're worried, just let the server know otherwise it will come out all on the same plate for everyone to take from. No French toast.

I think it's good for the cost vs CRT for breakfast. It's not rushed and the princesses come to the table AND you get a free photo with Belle. It's pretty good. :)

We did lunch last year, and I really didn't care for it. Just not really my kind of food.We are going to try breakfast this year, and it sounds betterto me. The service and character interaction is great, it was just a personal taste type thing with the food. It wasn't that it was bad (DH loved it) itwas just not really something I would choose to eat.

Breakfast is a small buffet and family style main dish. Lunch and dinner have the small buffet and menu order. We have had breakfast and lunch and loved both. Breakfast is pretty standard like pp said. Lunch we had something similar to meatloaf and pulled pork sandwhich. Both were really good. Desserts we good too. I didn't care for the pudding. I actually thought it was vanilla ice cream til I tasted it and it was more like rice pudding.

We had supper there in June and LOVED it.

I booked PSB for the Princesses. I was worried about the food.

The cold bar/salad bar was terrific. We could have stuffed ourselves with that alone.

We ordered off the menu. I had the salmon - wonderful. DH had the pork chop and scalloped potatoes - they were scrumptious, too. Girls had hot dogs :sad2: - and really enjoyed them.

Dessert has recently changed. Still served family style, but the servings are different - school bread (very yummy), rice pudding (okay), and chocolate mousse (everyone loved this).

We were incredibly happy with the meal and the princess interaction. If you'd like pics or more of a description, you can check them out in the link to my TR below.

I am looking forward to trying PSB next trip, I have read great things about the food on here and I have heard the character interaction is better than CRT. We found our lunch at CRT really rushed last trip and the characters just skimmed by the table!

We are considering this for our group of 11. Concerning the desserts, does everyone get the same size servings of the 3 items - would our family be given the same as a family of 3-4. If so, we'd hardly get a bite of each.

We ate here for lunch last year. We enjoyed it so much we are going back. It was the best meal I ate at WDW last year.

I really don't think they would give your large group the same amount of dessert as a much smaller family. I'm sure they would give you the right amount for the number of people. :)
