Anyone ever heard of this? I booked the 7-for-4 deal that was offered to new Visa cardholders. We're staying at FW cabins Sept. 25 - Oct. 2. At the time, I wasn't sure as to what the Princess and Prince Plan was and forgot to ask when I made my ressies. From these boards, I found out that it's a one-time only charge and thought that it might be worth our while since we're planning to do a character breakfast. So I called today to see if I could add it to our existing ressie and was told that it was not an option for that deal. Anyone else have that happen? Do you think I should call back and ask again?

I called yesterday as well to inquire about adding it on and was told that it was not possible because the promation/summer package program I took advantage of was no longer being offered. I can't believe that an existing reservation can't be altered. I thought that with the invention of computers it would be as easy as a click of the mouse(no pun intended). I will continue to call, because if you don't ask the answer is always "NO".

It is true that if the deadline for the special has run out, you can not alter the package. I booked using the Kids Free deal and once we passed the deadline for it, we couldn't alter the package. We may not like that rule, but Disney has every right to do this. If they choose to offer special rates, they can put whatever restrictions they want on them.

I tried to add this on when I booked the 7 for 4 deal. The CM told me it was not available with this particular package. I called back the next day and tried again but got the same answer. After I switched my reservations to a travel agent (friend of mine) she called twice to add it on and again was told "no". So, I have given up trying to add it. I wanted it more for the reserved show seats but oh well. One CM did tell me that because I am already getting the $100 Disney Dollars that that may be the reason they are not allowing this add-on..since each child gets $50 DD, too.

Sorry, but that is just BS...

You are paying, what, $68 per child for the package? There should be no problem giving the $50 in Disney Dollars...

My guess is that the "7 for 4 deal" ressies become locked and cannot be changed now without losing the discount...

Which is too bad since I was seriously considering adding on the Silver Plan as well as the Pricess Plan add-on to my "7 for 4" ressie...

2 ideas,

first, maybe since the 7-4 is a bank offer, not Disney, maybe they can't add it on. I'd ask on the resorts brd if anyone who booked the 7-4 package has this plan.

next, I'd just call back, maybe the CM you got didn't know how to add it.

Good luck,

I just thought these were "add-on" plans and could be added on at any time. Since they aren't discounted, I don't see what the big deal is about adding it to an existing ressie. I had stated before that I was interested because we were already considering doing a breakfast. I also really wanted the reserved seating at the shows. This would be a BIG plus considering we have 2 DDs - ages will be 23 months and 4 at the time of our trip. Maybe I'll call back and see if I get any other info from another CM. But from everyone else's response, it sounds like I'm plain out of luck!

I am stuck at work doing back to back 14 hour shifts, but I will call Friday afternoon / evening and see what I can do. I'll report back later Friday night...

The PS for shows is a nice plus, but it's not going to save you any waiting. You have to show up 30 minutes prior to show time with your voucher. So if you were thinking it would be nice because you wouldn't have to sit and wait as long, I'm afraid that's not how it will work. You are seated before the rest of the crowd, so you'll be sitting even longer.
