We are renting points staying at the bc 12/1-5. I would LOVE to get the princess package for dd. princess:

1) Where can I find info. about the Princess pkg. and what it includes?

2) I have read that you can add on a length of stay pass on Vacation Club stays – does anybody know how/when you can do this? I won’t arrive till late on my first day and am doing an Illuminations cruise so I have no need to enter the parks that day – can I get a length of stay pass for 4 of the 5 days?

3) Can you add the “princess” package onto a length of stay pass? If not, how do you get it?

4) dd is not yet 3 so I will not need to get a pass for her. Can I add the “princess” package onto an adult pass?

Thanks for any info. This board is the best!

from what i understand, the princess package can only be added to a dreammaker package... if you are staying dvc you are not eligible...

although, i'm not sure what about the package entices you? you can buy almost all the components of the package for the same or less money w/the only thing you cannot "buy" is the preferred seating for the shows at animal kingdom and mgm (but from one who did it, it's a bit of a hassle to select weeks in advance exactly what time you will be available in each park to watch a show... if you are not going at peak time, you are better off standing in line)

also, because the package includes the breakfast voucher, it does not include disney making the breakfast ps for you... so the voucher is only good if you can get the ps you want... the other component is the disney dollars... you can purchase them at any disney store, front desk, guest relations, gift shop, etc...

hope that helps... ENJOY!

Thanks for your help! I might try to add dd onto my sister's package - if it's possible for an under 3.

The main thing I was interested in was the preferred seating for the shows - we already have our reservation for Cindi's breakfast so I figured I'd use that feature then.

You said you had to "reserve" your preferred seating in advance at the parks? Would you mind elaborating on how this works?

Thanks!

We have the Princess add-on for our upcoming trip. You get a breakfast voucher for a character breakfast. we are going to the Princess one in Epcot. One for each person.
You also get VIP seating at 6 shows throughout the parks.
(Beauty and the Beast, Festival of the Lion King,Pocahontas and her Friends, Flights of Wonder, Playhouse Disney, and Tarzan Rocks) You make those Priority seating reservations though the Disney Dining Phone number, and must be made ahead of time.
DD will also get $50 in Disney Dollars to spend.

It's a pretty good deal, basically all you get free is the VIP seating, but that's just an extra bonus I think.princess: princess: princess:

just like the previous poster said...

you call wdw dine (or the 1-800-828-0228 number to save a few dimes!) and make the equivalent to a ps for the shows... they will tell you approximately what time the show will be on the date you choose and if there is availability for "reserved" seating... i had a hard time juggling exactly when we would be catching what show as our park days are not planned minute-by-minute... and ended up only using one of our show coupons... also, i was a tad disappointed that the reserved seating was not necessarily the best seating in the house... it was nearly the worst for Festival of the Lion King :( my kids were very unhappy to be in the back row, when all the front row kids were chosen to be a part of the show, esp because when we walked in, the front rows were still empty!

personally, i would not do the add-on again... although dollar for dollar we got our money's worth (the price of the meal plus the disney dollars) we did not get anything "extra" and the planning and lousy seats were more trouble than they were worth...

Thanks so much for the info!

I won't worry about the princess package knowing this - it certainly doesn't sound like it's worth going out of my way to get.

Thanks again,
~Kim
