My son is in love with Ariel and wants to eat lunch with her. We can do that but was wondering if he would be the only boy at the meal??? That's fine by me, and him too I would imagine, but I would want to warn him if he would be greatly outnumbered by pretty little girls.

My DS (age 4) loves the princesses, too. Last trip we went to CRT. He wasn't the only boy but there were a lot of girls in costumes. He didn't really care since he got to see Cinderella and Snow White. Who cares how many boys are there? :teeth: There are other little boys there and my 2 will be eating with princesses again this trip. The 9 year old said he thought it was cool to eat in the castle and wasn't really into the princesses. This year we are doing PSB and 1900 Park Faire. Take him and enjoy it! When they get older, it isn't as special and then girls get yucky! The princesses go out of their way to make him feel like a prince, believe me!

I'm sure he wont be anywhere near the only boy ... if only because many of those little princesses in training have brothers. My son was forced to sit through PSB breakfast (I didnt think I could do lunch menu just to see the princesses and we didnt NEED to se Ariel) and 1900 Park fare dinner with my daughter. He was pretty sullen about it too at PSB but maybe he wasnt quite ready to be there yet. Anyway we saw plenty of other boys and they werent treated any different than the girls...except like Aurora made a big deal over my daughter because she had on her Aurora costume. That might be a little hard to create for a boy...But a prince costume my draw him some extra attention.

Thank you for responding so fast. I was hoping you would say that. I wasn't concerned about him being the only boy there. I just wanted to warn him if he would be. :teeth: Is Ariel at the castle though?? That would be so cool but I heard she was only at the princess lunch at Epcot.

Our DS (turns 4 in two weeks) LOVES the princesses. Aurora is his favorite (because Prince Phillip is his favorite prince~I think because he does that manly dragon-slaying thing, lol!). We have done CRT, PSB, Park Fare. He is not the only boy, but yes, he will be outnumbered. Tell Ariel that she is his favorite, he will likely get some "special" attention from her, possibly kisses. Also, go see Ariel in her Grotto at the MK. We got some great interaction with her during Wishes. (No one was in there but us, because they were all watching the fireworks.)

Ariel was not at the castle when we went. I have read that you have a better chance of seeing her at PSB also. Hope your DS gets to see her!

I am a male and I also have no problem eating at places where the Princesses are. Also I am 29 years old lol > I must say I loved eating at Cinderelly's Castle because of all the pretty Princesses * Blushes * This was not the only reason why I loved eating at Cinderelly's Castle though, because I have always thought it would be neat to eat there. Also when I ate there they put me by a window. Plus this was a birthday breakfast :goodvibes

Now as much as I love the pretty girls, I do wish that the Cinderelly mice would come there. I can see Suzy and Perla at the 1900 Park Fair, but they could bring the little girl mouse in the yellow dress who starts to Cinderelly work song to the Castle for the character meals. There are a lot of female mice in the Cinderelly movie that they could bring to the Castle for these character meals. Also you never see Jaq or Gus at DisneyWorld so maybe have them at Cinderelly's Castle. It would be kinda cool if you want to see Jaq you must book a meal at Cinderelly's Castle. Since Cinderelly's Castle is a special place to eat why not have some special characters there that you can't find anywhere else in DisneyWorld ? he he

Ariel was wonderful with my DS2 earlier this month! We did lunch at Epcot and really enjoyed it- but check the menu, it is quite different. Ariel was there in her beautiful gown and they had a great photo op with her. When we saw her again at the grotto, she remembered us! Especially my DS who left lunch with lipstick kisses all over his face from all the princesses and loved every second! I would have to say that he enjoyed the princesses more than his sister!
