Princess Marathon Questions

DH and I will be at Disneyland the weekend of the Princess half marathon. We have never been to Disneyland during a marathon. Other than possible higher crowds, what can we expect? Are all of the marathon events at the expo center? Or will people be running through the parks- special roped off courses etc? Just trying to get an idea of what to expect. Thanks for any help guys!!

Did you mean the Tink 1/2 Marathon weekend? The Princess 1/2 is at WDW.

If it's Tink, the expo is at the DL Hotel and the races are around the parks. The 5k and 10k will be over before the parks open. The 1/2 will still be going on while the parks are open but the part inside the parks will be over before then. You might run into some runners still on the streets around the parks, but there are volunteers that will direct when you can cross over the course. As for crowds, this is the 1st time on that weekend so not sure what it'll be like, plus you have Mother's Day thrown in there.

If it's Princess, the expo is at ESPN WWOS. Same thing as Tink for the 5/10k ~ will be over before parks open. The 1/2 has runners in EPCOt while it's open but like Tink, they will direct traffic when you can cross over. Crowds that weekend are a little higher b/c along w/ runners you have some still on Presidents Week.

Oh wow I feel like a goof I did mean Princess Marathon, but didn't realize it was in WDW! For some reason I thought it was being held at DLR. Thanks so much for clarifying
