Princess Lunch/Dinner ??'s

A pp mentioned that they had some "good seats" to see and interact with the princesses.

Where exactly were you sitting and if anyone else has anything to add, please do!!

I have never had a "bad" seat. We have done the dining at both Ariel's Grotto in Calif. Adventure and the Plaza Inn at DL Resort. The princesses mingle throughout the entire restaurant. We have never had a problem getting an autograph or a picture and a hug. Make sure your kids have access to get away from the table for pictures - don't stick them in a corner or against a wall as the characters can not get to them. Outside at both restaurants is great if its sunny.

My only advice is if you are outside, be aware of where the sun is when you take photographs. I am not the worlds best photographer and didn't really think of this and some of our pictures were washed out or dark.

I agree with tinkryansmom. The Princesses mingle around and you should get to see them all. Personally I prefer to sit outside if its nice out, as I think sitting along the water with the view of the park adds to the atmopshere, but the Princess interaction would be the same anywhere.

And that is a great point about the sun. After 2 Princesses, I finally realized my flash wasnt going off because the sun was on me, not DSs and the Princesses and the pictures were coming out dark. By the 3rd Princess, I asked if we could shift a little to get the light and that solved the problem.

We went on my daughters 5th birthday and were seated inside. We were near a corner downstairs. There was an open area close to our table and when Belle came to our table she asked my three daughters to dance with her. They were in heaven, they loved the interaction. It was more than just a quick photo like all the other characters they had met during our trip.
