Princess Lucia Cherry Heart's Fabulous Disney Adventure

This year its just me and my 5 year old Grand Daughter going to WDW. Her mom was not interested in coming and I thought it would be a great opportunity for us to do the things we like at our own pace. In addition I could give her all my attention and concentrate on making it extra special for her and give her my undivided attention.

Me, I am a Grandma in my 50s and love Disney. Dear Darling Grand Daughter (DDG) has already been to Disney twice and has been so excited to go again.

This year we are staying for 8 nights at POFQ. The little princess really liked Princess Tiana and we are staying at POFQ for its atmosphere (not to mention the price!)

We have an appointment on that first day, a Saturday 5/14, at the BBB in DTD. Then its off to the MK. I reserved the Perfectly Princess Tea party on that Sunday. Sleeping beauty is her fave, and I cant wait to take her to this. I even, as suggested here on the DIS, made an invitation from Princess Aurora inviting her to the tea party which I will leave on her pillow.

I am probably looking forward to this as much if not more than her. My plan is to take it slow, hit the parks in the early mornings and evenings, with lots of pool and relaxing time during the hot hours.

sounds like a ton of fun and a very special treat. I am a 50 something with no grandkids....My children refuse to commit so I am forced to take my sisters grandkids...

I did the BBB with my beautiful baby Grace 2 years ago---she really thought she was a Princess. This past Christmas I forced her mother to take her to the AKershaus for breakfast. She was so happy and her mother was teary eyed at her daughters excitement. Enjoy every minute of your trip.
