Well thought i would a pre trip report.

Myself Ginette Disney Mad
DH Paul just goes along with anything i say :thumbsup2
DD Chloe 4, thinks she is a princess hence the name Princess Jackson, she chose that.

Holiday booked May 2005 and has been changed twice, were going July for 3 weeks then changed to June for 2 weeks, and yet again it changed due to me possibly changing jobs and the start date would clash, so brought it forward to April 19th.

After all that we did not need to changed so could of saved £150 quid, never mind.

Already have annual pass from Dec and the DDE card.

Jan, as soon as i could i added the DDP to our DVC booking.
Then made all our adrs in 1 telephone call.

Start diet to fit into my clothes :rotfl2: :rotfl: yeah right like i kept to that one. Yep new year's res.

So diet out of the window, have to buy new clothes, luck was my way a local sports shop closing down and everything was 70% off, so got t.shirts, shorts, socks for me and DH.

Feb/march, chloe clothes left to the last chance, 18 outfits later oops.

DH buys Annual car insurance for USA £99, so saved £££.

More clothes for me :thumbsup2 DH bought these ones using his student card to get 10% off.

Suntan cream on special at ASDA so stocked up.
Toiletries in.

Chase up tickets well TA did this, nope not in.

April, buy packmates and try them out great :thumbsup2
Chase TA again, arrive 12 days before we travel, and car voucher wrong, only 7 days hire.

WEEK BEFORE.
Visit local airport for the holiday feeling and to ask BA some questions.
Wash clothes, iron the clothes that needed ironing, cases opened to air.

Passports at the ready, money counted several times, disney passes checked, DL ready with the paper part, DVC cards, all put together.

Starting to put hand luggage ready, and maybe start to pack or dress rehersal for the final packing. :cool1:

Looking forward to reading all about your trip when you get back :teeth:

OMG, you are going the day before us, but you are so much more organised. I have finally finished clothes shopping this weekend, but have not packed anything yet, as I plan to do it over this upcoming Easter weekend.

I have still to buy the toiletries, have written a long list and will get them over the weekend too.

I must admit though that I am itching to start the packing, there are little piles of things here there and everywhere so it will be good to get organised.

I know what you mean about the dieting business, I booked this holiday last August, and somehow I just kept putting it off, then as Christmas got nearer it was ' well might as well get Christmas over first', then I did manage to lose half a stone in January, but since then it has gone out of the window and I have probably put the half a stone back on!!! :sad2:

Hope you have a good holiday and look forward to reading your reports when you get back.

Hope you have a great time - looking forward to hearing all about it on your return :thumbsup2

Wow, getting really exciting for you now, and you visited the airport too! :teeth: ooh I'd say get packing but if you're anything like me, then you'd have to unpack again just to make sure you didn't forget anything (yes I really do that....several times). have brilliant fun and we'll hear all about it when you get back,

Yep that's me too, i pack then rumage through to check the number of things, ie underwear, socks, to make ure i have enough, so after rumaging i have to pack again, then DH will ask how many socks do i have, then i look at him i only counted mine, have you packed this and that, and i will have to double check.

:rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

Sounds like i have a OCD.

Have a wonderful trip, Ginette! Sounds like you are more organised than me, and we're going on Friday :rolleyes1
