Princess Half Marathon Weekend 2026 (Feb 26-Mar 2, 2026)

I'm hoping they'll eventually do a not-Princess weekend, mostly so they can use Leia. Or theme a race entirely to female Star Wars characters like Leia, Padme, Ahsoka, Rey. The dream!

Given how popular Meg and Esmeralda are, I’d love to have a weekend that has non-Princess ladies. Include two above plus Jane Porter, and maybe Mary Poppins.

Yes, there are definitely non-princess characters that would be awesome!

I don't know why, because it's not the font for the movie, but the "half marathon" text makes me think of Rapunzel/Tangled for some reason. I don't think it will be that, but my brain keeps going there for some reason whenever I look at it.

Club registration isn't until June 17, so it could be as late as the week before that. I hope they don't wait that long!

CrD registration is June 17, so themes will likely be June 3, unless runDisney does something unexpected.

YES to this!!

I am super eager to see themes for princess. As you may know, JoAnn fabrics is closing (at least all the stores in Michigan are...?) and their fabric is all clearanced out. NOT ME spending $$$$ on various types of athletic fabric, dancewear, tulle, sequins, satin, you name it...in a few different colors...because why not? I have no clue what I will be running in or what character I'll want to be but it's best to be prepared....

I'm thinking June 3rd or before for themes, with Club runDisney membership available to general public on June 10th the themes for both Princess and Springtime Surprise I think would drive or entice some people to join the club for the extras during those weekends (if they shared them).

I'm undecided on whether I'm excited for themes

I would really like to do Princess next year, along with Springtime, but until I have a job secured, I can't really commit.

I did have a really good interview (IMO, at least) today, so fingers crossed that I hear something positive before the end of my CrD registration window.

I'm not sure I can commit with this registration being so early. Princess doesn't have my favorite themes but I was ready to go until DL was announced. Now that I am doing Dopey/Dumbo, I don't think Princess would be wise. My FOMO will be horrendous of course, but I gotta think realistically here
