Is there anyone out there signed up for the Princess Half that runs about a 12:00 pace? I really really want to do the Princess, but I don't really want to run the whole thing by myself. I don't know anyone else going out there for it as of right now. I'm used to running in a group at home, so I'd love to have someone to talk to even for a little bit of it.

Anyone else run about that pace - who wants to meet up before the race and stick together as long as we can?

:)

I could be anywhere from a 10:30 to a 12 pace. lol. TNTsfan and I ran about an 11:50 last year. ALl depends how I recover from the marathon. Hoping to do a much better job this year. There are always WISHers on the course, though.

I say go for it. You're welcome to start with me, although, I'll probably be closer to 11 at the start. (If it's hot, though I will die quickly)

I suspect you will be a little too quick for me. I'm usually around a 12:30 pace, but I tend to go slower at WDW so that I can really enjoy the experience.

Most of my recent races, I have started quicker too - but I've learned that I finish stronger when I start at my true pace. It only took me 4 races to figure it out! I think it's a pretty flat route, so I can likely go faster than my typical. I'm starting a new "Half" class after Marathon weekend, so I'm hoping it'll help me speed up.

I may try to start with you. I'll keep in touch!

I hear ya on going slower at WDW. I suspect that I will have my camera (not typical race day gear ;)) and go a bit slower, but I think I'll start out a little faster and slow down at MK.

Teresa - I try to start clsoe to pace. However, it seems like my ace when it's hot is the same whtehr I strted fast or slow. So, I make hay when teh sun doesn't shine, so to speak. :upsidedow
