Princess Gabby's Surprise First Trip to "Where the Princesses Live"

First off, your princess looks absolutely adorable in her Minnie dress. It's just soooooo cute! I really want some new luggage but can't really justify going out and buying more since the ones I have are perfectly fine.

Me and Mama went shopping this weekend and we saw some little girl shorts as we were cutting through the girls department. We made the same comment......look how short those shorts are! And some of the tops are tiny. Ummmmm, I would want my little girl flaunting her stuff at an early age.

I love that dress and she has been trying to wear it since it came!!LOL
I don't know WHY they are making those shorts so "short"...shamefull

This I might be able to help with. Are you planning on being at Epcot prior to the 12:30 ressie? If so I woud do Character Spot first. It is just to the right of the big fountain and then go to Nemo and Turtle talk. Then head up to Captain EO. There are 3 paths to the world showcase. The main one in the middle and one on each side. If you go to EO, you can take the one on the right side. That puts you in Canada, then United Kingdom then on around to France. They have frozen adult slushies. Then you can go get your pearl in Japan before going on around to lunch.

A couple of recommendations

There are really cool interactive games and things in the innoventions areas in Epcot. My sister and I had a blast playing the waste management/recylcing video games and the fire safety one.

Soarin at the Land is awesome as long a you are not prone to motion sickness. It is one of my favorite things at Disney, but you will need to get a Fast Pass or the lines are long.

Test track is a fun ride and not very scary.

Did you know Winnie the Pooh, Tigger and Eyeore can be found in the toy store in the United Kingdom. This is the only place at Disney you can get a picture with more than one Pooh character at a time and the lines are usually short since most folks don't know they are back there.

We had a very short wait to get a picture taken with Aurora outside France.

Belle and Beast are usually outside Germany and Aladdin and Jasmine are outside Morroco.

The margarita's in Mexico are yummy!

Love the minnie dress. Saw a family this weekend at Animal Kingdom who had custom shirts. Each person in the family had a different animal print Mickey Head and their name on the front of their t-shirt.

The luggage is really cute in person and the pink is not as bright as the stock pic. I will try to take the picture over this weekend so you can see the true colors.. Not that I amtrying to be an enabler but on overstock all their things ship for either 2.95 or 3.9

I would make sure to ride spaceship earth and to stop at club cool!

I really need some new sneakers, I have been lookign for a shoe that is good for people with flat feet so I bought some Brooks sneakers because they are supposed to be really good walking/running shoes- and I have been walking in the AM and my dang feet still hurt!! I need to see if I can find a good insert because if not I am gonna be in so much pain in disney!

Oh no, good shoes are a must. When we went on our honeymoon we literally walked all day for the first few days...from 8 am until 3 or 4 the next morning at DTD. My feet have never hurt so much in my life. I had to ball up socks to put under my arches in my shoes just to keep some of the pain away. And we couldn't find any inserts for our shoes anywhere on property. That was horrible. (Clearly, since I'm still complaining about it 4.5 years later!) So find good shoes! Don't leave home without them!

I read there are books in Walgreen's. I might check that out tomorrow. I would offer to get them for you but I have gotten forgetful here lately. I was supposed to bring someone some UNC shirts back from my last trip. I remembered once but then never got them!!

OK I have spent the afternoon on the DISign boards. Man I'm thinking about a personalized autograph book. I really want this to be a low stress trip so I'm thinking I might stress myself out trying to get signatures. maybe I'll just print the ones we know we will see at Chef Mickey's.

Hey Terri, Thanks for the comps on the shirts! I forgot to pick up white shirts the TWO times I was in Walmart this weekend so I will get them this week and hopefully get that done. I will have to check out Walgreens and see if I see them.. are they bound or spiral? It is alot to ask somone to bring back something that you actually need, that is why I have not asked anyone.. i don't want them to feel bad if they forget!!LOL

No..haven't found any new shoes yet..BUT I put a new arch support in my old Nikes and they don't hurt anywhere near the other ones..they are tolerable.

I was able to change my ADRs move them to day when DH is going to be there.. I was luky because they were hard ones.. CRT and Arkershush... I am gonna have to change my days around too..
I will be back to do that, my nephew had surgery today and I promised him popcicles so I gotta go take em to him!!!

subscribing, can't wait to see how thing go for your daughter! we have a 4 yr old who will go to DL for the first time Aug 2011, and then her first WDW trip the next september. I wish we could afford to hop on a plane and go now. I will make do with updates about your daughter's excitement after the trip. We are surprising our kids too! I'm sooo excited! Have you heard of superfeet? they are these amazing inserts you can get at Fleet Feet or Runner's World. They are awesome and will give new life to your shoes for about $30

How exciting that your daughter gets to go to both! I am thinking about planning something to DL in the next couple of years because my daughter keeps asking about going to Cali-well actually to Hollywood!!LOL

I have never heard of those.. I bought my shoes from Fleet Feet(the hurt ones) so I don't wanna give them anymore money! I felt like they kinda pushed the shoes on me-now I know ultimately it was my choice...
