Princess Fantasy Faire question- How long does it last?

Is it best to get there before it opens? Is it an all day event?

We are doing the Ariel's Princess breakfast, so we wouldn't wait in the meet 'n' greet lines. We would do the other things though.

Since we won't be waiting in any long lines there, how long should we expect to spend there?

I plan on going on a weekday, if that makes a differance.

PFFT normally opens 1 hour after park opening and stays open until about 6 pm. If you aren't doing the meet/greet, then the only other things to do are the Royal Coronation Ceremony and Princess Storytelling. They have several shows of each throughout the day. If you time it right you can do one right after the other. You can also shop and they have picnic tables set up for the kids to make princess crowns and coloring pages, etc. They also have a princess makeover (hair, glitter, etc), but it's pretty $$$$. I'd say plan on 60-90 minutes max to experience it all.

I'm OK with spending an hour or two in there seeing shows, browsing the shops and letting DD6 do some crafts. I sure am glad we got ressies for Ariel's to get the meeting of princesses out of the way. I don't relish the idea of spending the best part of a day in there to do the activities and meet the royalty!

I wanted to this before so in september I broke down and had them braid my hair... It was 30 dollars but i kept it in for 2 days... and Ariel (we saw the same girl in disneyland and at ariel's grotto) she called them fishy tails and would grab them so they kept coming undone... it was irritating!
