Princess Fairytale Hall changeover?

Hi everyone,

I will be visiting MK on April 17th and 18th. As we've heard, Ana & Elsa will be moving to Princess Fairytale Hall for greets starting April 20th. When I was making FP+ selections this morning, I noticed that:

"Meet Ana & Elsa" is grayed out as a selection and says "under refurbishment." It says the exact same thing for "Meet Cinderella & Rapunzel". It looks like that will be the setup- moving Cindy & Rapunzel together. Makes sense. It also makes sense that they'd close FPH for at least a few days to make changes (I imagine they'll be changing décor?).

However, the existing options for "meet Cinderella & visiting princess" and "meet Rapunzel & visiting princess" are still there and have available times. Maybe they won't be closing PFH for the transition at all?

Who knows. Just some things I noticed. It's a bummer to be there within a day of seeing Ana & Elsa, but that's okay, it looks like maybe we can meet Rapunzel which will be great.

Very much doubt it it's only just been done.

No, the things they'll have to do to add A&E to the decor are pretty superficial and can be done overnight.

I would say there is pretty much no chance that PFTH will close for any refurb for A & E to 'move in.' They are simply using that 'refurbishment' phrase on the MDE site right now for the dates before the girls arrive in the MK just to let people know that particular meet and greet is not available during those dates.

Fairytale Hall is a brand new attraction, and given a few minor tweaks they've had to do since opening (removing broken bookeneds, etc) they aren't about to revamp it too noticeably towards a Frozen slant. The whole story behind the attraction is that the Princesses from other kingdoms are guests of Cinderella's and that the Fairytale Hall is just an extension of Cinderella's castle (this was stated in the literature released when the attraction opened and that is why it is decorated as it is.) That's why there's no portrait of Cinderella. on display and why her glass slipper is front and center. They *MIGHT* possibly add a portrait of Anna and Elsa to display in the hall with the other portraits of visiting princesses (where I don't know since there isn't much open space on the walls of the standby queue), but I doubt they'll even do the ice palace backdrop like they have over in Norway. (Just my opinion).

My guess is that Cinderella will meet with Rapunzel on the right side (where Cinderella currently meets and the space that exits into Sir Mickey's) I only say this because that is the side that has the blue wallpaper with the glass slipper motif. Rapunzel's current side has pink wallpaper with a rose motif. It's less Cinderella specific so a little more appropriate for a 'visiting princess' (and queen as it were. ) But I'm sure it will come down to which side can handle a queue overflow in both the standby and FP+ lines.

When my daughter visited Cinderella on Tuesday she was playing in the curtains and looking out the faux window, Cinderella told her that Elsa is the one that put the frost on the windows, and that really might remain the extent of it.

This is my feeling/question too. The last time I was there I had such a good time talking to the two of them (about Doctor Who thanks to my tshirt). I am one of the very few Disney fans not so excited about Anna and Elsa, and I wonder if there will be an alternate meet for those Princesses or if we'll have to go to Epcot to meet them.

Snow is moving back to Town Square. Aurora will be in with Anna & Elsa (so they will still be sharing one spot, doing pics together like they are now)

They are also only greeting til the early evening, and Snow will be back in the hall til close

Ok that's good! I was about to get really upset if I couldn't easily find Aurora.
