Thinking of touring and FP+ strategies for our end of january trip. It's been our tradition the past few january visits to go right to Rapunzel at rope drop (MK crowd levels in the 2-3 range, no EMH). We'd essentially be first in line, especially with the elsa and anna m&g and SDMT drawing the bulk of rope droppers. We're thinking about doing the same thing this year, but meeting cindy and elena first (without FP+) But wondering if the loss of E&A and the addition of elena might make that wait significantly longer first thing in the AM. We can FP it if need be, but rather not use it up if we don't have to.

You should be fine, especially at Rope Drop. Elena has been out (unadvertised) for awhile now, and her pull hasn't been that much. I was at MK on Sunday, we had a FP, but Standby was only 30 min for Cindy and 45 for Rapunzel/Tiana. Those posted waits are assuming everyone with a FP shows up; so if there is low FP returns while you're in line then the line moves much faster.
