Thanks for sharing Emily's story. She is so strong. I cried thru it. I have a friend (lol, an internet friend) who's 8 month old baby girl had bilateral wilms as well, she went to St Judes and is now in remission! Go Kelly!

They live close to WDW and we hope to get to meet them during Nick's MAW trip.

And I bet your friend's name is Dawn! Small world! (Wilms' is usually found in toddler or older children, so she and I became fast friends, both being nursing-infant-bilateral-Wilms'-moms.)

YES! We actually did get to meet up with Kelly and Dawn last Tuesday. Kelly is so amazing. Had lunch at Planet Hollywood.

It was time to get ready for the safety drill. Want to see the latest craze? It’s a beautiful shade of orange:

Now it was back to the room (see a trend forming here???) to get rid of our fashionable accessories in a hurry to get to the sail away party. Emily in her fashionista way, wants to change clothes of course (I’m HOT Mommy.. Standing in the sun for 15 mintues didn’t help it during the drill). So I let her change. Hmmmm what did she pick???

Time to go to the room (AGAIN) and get ready for dinner at Triton’s (French flair food) but before changing Emy had to watch the boat leave the dock. This is one of my favorite pics from the trip:

How do they "handle" Wish Kids on the cruises? Do you have a button or something so that they know it is a wish trip? How does that work? I guess we will see as this trip unfolds...

I'm loving the update so far. It is so great to see the looks of pure joy on the girls faces. It just makes me smile!

You know, me too. I am so glad I got one of the pics from the sail away party b/c THAT is what made the trip worth it. We put all the tests, scans, hospital visits, surgeries, medicines behind us to have these moments!

Wonderful start!!! I am so excited! This is our first MAW Cruise TR that I know of. No pressure!

They're up. Lovely shade of orange that EVERYONE looks awesome in!! Actually, Carter had his cruise right before Emy's... In fact, Holly gave me a few tips of stuff to enjoy while on the trip!!!

Oh wow, what great pictures...Jake is loving the pictures...of course now he wants to go on a Disney cruise...lol Can't wait to read more!!!

Yes, you can watch tv while swimming! I think if it hadn't been so darn cold, we would have done that but as it was we didn't spend much time in the pools!!

I'll do a separate post coming up explaining the wish kids on the boat.

The best part about the Ariel screen over the Goofy pool is at night they show movies up on the screen - grab a snack and a drink and hang out like it's a drive in movie... (usually just classic Disney movies, but they did show some of the premieres there when we were on the Repo cruise...)
