Thanks for posting these Mike. We've only sailed on Princess once but would go again.

I was excited to find your link over on CC. We will be on the Emerald Princess in March for our first non-Disney cruise (with stops in Grand Turk and Princess Cays). We did an Eastern Caribbean on the Disney Fantasy in October and fell in love with St.Thomas, so your Emerald itenerary looks very intriguing as well. On Grand Turk, did you travel by taxi or rent a golf cart? Do you have any advice or tips for us about the Emerald? We will be celebrating DH's 40th Bday (sans child) and we are planning on eating in the Crown Grill one night. Thanks for sharing your photos:)

We rented a taxi. The driver took us around for $20 per person. There's not much to see.

Definitely try the Crown Grill. Maybe twice. Also, do the Ultimate Ship's Tour if you can. It's $150 per person, but very much worth it, especially with all the gifts you get.

Curious...
What did you think of "Magic To Do..."

We are thinking of taking a Princess Cruise to Alaska, but we are mostly going because of that show.

I enjoyed it. Others in my party did not. The show combines Stephen Schwartz Songs with a simple storyline and a bit of magic. My two favorite segments were "Colors of the wind" and the two songs from Wicked "Popular" and "Defying gravity". Spoiler alert - for the latter segment, they do the same illusion as they do on the Broadway show. If you'd like a copy of the show's "Playbill", send me a PM with your email.

I sailed on Coral Princess in Alaska shout 9 years ago and really enjoyed it. Keep in mind each cruise line and ship has its own style.
