I would like to know how much to expect to spend to purchase a Princess Aurora costume within the parks. I've checked E-bay and Disney online, but can't get my daughter's size in a style I like. I know it's going to be a lot, but can anybody give me a number? Thank you!!

They were $49.50 when I looked, same price as the Disney store. Some are more. It's really shocking how much they cost!! You can get them cheaper online.

FYI - I popped in one of my local Macy's yesterday and in the girls dept. they had the Spring Princesses garden dresses - all gold. There were Cinderella, Sleeping Beauty and Belle. Too bad no Snow White. I don't remember how much they were, but don't think they were on sale. .. pretty cute.

Believe it or not, the ones at Macy's were the ones that gave me the idea. They are so cute! DD wears an S, and they only had XS and XXS. Maybe I should have them call to the other stores for me.

Otherwise, we'll probably pay the $50. DD has some money saved from gifts, so we would only end up paying half.

I just can't resist!

Thanks for your help!

I didnt know cosutumes at DL were only $50!! I thought thery were more like $80-100! The ones we sell in out stores are usually $40 for a regular costume, or $80 for a deluxe costume. There is no way ours are the same price as at the resort!! WOW!! I know we had an Ariel costume returned to my store a couple of weeks ago that was purchased at DLR just maybe 2 weeks prior, if I remember right, that one was $80. It was not that cute either, it looked cheaply made to some of the others have I seen, but I know Ariel costumes are harder to make than the other princesses unfortunately.

HTH!
P.S. you can always call the resort and ask!!

I guess the $49.50 dresses were the least expensive ones. Perhaps the 9.50 is the markup between the store and resort? There were also much more expensive dresses in excess of $100. Can someone return something to a store that was bought in the park?

Just got back from DL yesterday. The "Princess Dresses" were all $65. I had decided that I wanted a Snow White one for my dd but when I got there they were too frilly. At 21 months my dd wouldn't have been able to wear something so frilly and she wouldn't have appreciated it anyway.

Minnie Mouse and Alice dresses were cheaper at around $48.

I almost bought her an Alice one instead but decided to wait until September when we go back.

I just bought the whole Jasmine outfit...

Disney Jasmine outfit - $65.00
Jasmine shoes - $19.99
Jasmine tiara - $15.00

The look on a little girls face when she opened the bag...PRICELESS!
