We were in WDW in March for our first trip (well, at least my first in 20 years!) We were lucky enough to get an ADR for Cinderella's Royal Table. We probably just lucked into it, because I think we were less than six months out when we called. It was wonderful - great interaction with five princesses, beautiful room, and even the food was good! Our four year old daughter absolutely loved it. We are now planning a trip for September, and I am prepared for the fact that we may not be so lucky this time, especially with the free dining promotion, and only being able to reserve 90 days in advance. I know there is a Princess breakfast at Epcot in Norway. For those who have done both, or even those who just did the Epcot one, what did you think about food, interaction with the princesses, etc.? I have read that there may also be characters there like Alice and Mary Poppins, which is a little confusing for a princess-themed breakfast.

One thing that was great about CRT was that we had an early reservation, and so we got to be in the park when it opened. That was great, because we then were able to get a head start on the Fantasyland rides. Getting into Epcot early would be less of a benefit, because there isn't as much there geared towards a four year old, and not as much reason to need to be first in the door.

We've done the castle for breakfast and Norway for breakfast - we've actually done Norway breakfast twice. We really love it! Both were wonderful - 5 princesses at both meals. At the castle, you are guaranteed to have your photo done with Cinderella. In Norway, it could be any princess. It is most often Belle, but it could be someone else.

At our first Norway breakfast, we had Belle, Aurora, Snow White, Mulan and Ariel. This last time - we had Belle, Aurora, Snow White, Jasmine and Mary Poppins.

If you can't get the castle (or want something less expensive) - Norway is a great alternative!

We did CRT for lunch not breakfast but the interaction with the princesses was very rushed. We did Norway for dinner our first trip and loved the interaction with the princesses so much, we went back on our last trip for breakfast. Our first trip, we had Jasmine, Ariel, Belle, Alice and Prince Ali (so not all princesses). On our last trip we had Belle, Mary Poppins, Jasmine, Sleeping Beauty and I can't remember who the last one was.

It sounds like it was a good experience for all of you. I don't think DD will be too upset if Cinderella doesn't happen to be one of the princesses. She likes them all, really, and I think would enjoy getting to see the less commonly seen ones like Mulan. I still don't get how Mary Poppins fits in, but I guess that's the "storybook" part! :) (I guess Mulan isn't technically a princess either).

It would be nice only to have to use one credit from the dining plan rather than two. Is the picture included the way it is for CRT?

We have done CRT for breakfast and lunch & Norway for lunch...we VERY much preferred Norway. We didn't feel as rushed at Norway, the princess really took their time with DD. Also, Ariel appears at Akershaus (can't be guaranteed, usually L & D) and she is DD's favorite. DH liked the food better at Akershaus too. Akershaus being 1 credit rather than 2 (still with photo package) is a great deal...CRT is one credit for the meal and 1 credit for eating in the castle (IMO).
