princess breakfast ?

we have been trying for the last 5 days to get a PS for the princess breakfast at Norway. So far we have been on hold for 1 hour each day (7:0-8:00) before giving up.
Any suggerstions or any ideas for another breakfast that would be fun for an 8 year old. We have done Chef Mickey's once and Crystal Palace twice.

This is from the 70 something page thread on the restaurant board, sorry I didn't pay attention to who posted it.
This is how we got our PS.

Basically, you just dial the 1-407-WDW-DINE number beginning at about 6:57 a.m. eastern time, and if you get a recording that says they are closed, immediately hang up and hit redial. As soon as you get a different recording that says something like "thank you for calling Disney Dining, we are glad you called", immediately hit 1. As soon as the next recording starts, hit 1 again, regardless of what it asks you. It should take you straight to a representative, or straight to being put on hold. If you go on hold, don't hang up and try again. You will lose your place in the queue.

I followed these same instructions this morning and got Cinderella's Round Table after hearing 'Sorry sold out' for the past 2 days. I also called late Monday night (around 10) and got a cancellation for the Storybook Breakfast at Norway!

Also don't use the 800# this week. I tried it on Mon and Tue and I had to listen to the whole message about the Hurricane before I could make a selection. Can't afford those few seconds time!

Cinderella usually gets booked for breakfast in the first three or four minutes. I would suppose the PSB also gets booked rather quickly. So no need to wait on hold longer than 15 or twenty minutes at the very max.

Ok here is my two cents! We have done the the princess breakfast in Norway, Cinderella's roundtable breakfast 2x and Cindy's dinner at the Grand Floridian. I would encourage you to try calling throughout the day. Both my husband and myself called in the middle of the day and both of us got reservations to Cinderella's roundtable breakfast! I suspect that many times people will call and make multiple reservations and then call back and cancel. If possible try altering your party size. For example we tried a reservation for 4 (which is difficult to come by) but my husband and I agreed that if we could not get reservations for a party of 4 to try for 2 (my daughter and one of us). Hope this helps!
