I am trying to surprise my 16yo DD and her best friend with a character breakfast. I was able to get PS's for EPCOT's Princess Breakfast and the character breakfast at the Crystal Palace but I don't want to keep both.
Can anyone tell me which they prefer?

which do they prefer? are they winnie the pooh fans or would they enjoy the whole princess thing better? which fits better w/your touring plan for the day epcot or mk? that's what i would take into consideration when trying to decide :)

I have done both. But only the Crystal Palace for a lunch.

We did a breakfast with the Princesses in Norway. There isnt much. You do get the characters but only once.

We did a later then usual lunch..2pm the place was almost empty and we were visited by all the characters at least 2-3 times each. Very nice.

My vote- Crystal Palace. (its also a buffet which was nicer then the breakfast where you get served family style.

My vote is also for is the Crystal Palace. I was not impressed with the princess breakfast at Epcot. If you choose the princess breakfast it is family style and you do get to see several princesses. Crystal Palace is buffet and wonderful!!

Can you tell me which food you preferred? I am leaning towards Crystal Palace but I'm wondering wondering how people like the food vs. the food served at the Princess Breakfast.
The girls like Pooh Characters and Princesses so I think I'll use the quality of the food as my determining factor.
Thanks to everyone for the responses so far.

we have done the breakfast at norway. based on the ages of the girls, i would definitely say CP as there are tons of little ones at norway. i can see the teen girls being more "into" pooh and frends than the princesses. the food was not that impressive at the princess breakfast; we were disappointed.

I haven't been to either yet, but I'd say the Crystal Palace. Did you see the awesome, detailed review by Forever42 the other day? pretty much everything I've read about CP breakfast has been good as well.

Enjoy whatever you decide!

I've decided on CP because of all the wonderful reviews I've read. The reviews of the Princess Bkfst seem pretty mixed and I think the girls may feel out of place with all the little girls.

Also Forever42's review and her pictures look awesome.

CRT is ok, but I think your girls would enjoy the CP more. We have only been to the CP at dinner, and we love it! But, our best friends rave about the breakfast at CP too!

Only go to the Princess Breakfast if you want to see princesses, not for the food. We went over Thanksgiving and enjoyed it for what it was, an enjoyable way for our daughters to see the princesses. The food was only so-so.

We went to the Crystal Palace for breakfast also on that trip. Both the food, characters, atmosphere, and service were very good. This is a definate must do on our next trip!

So if your girls would like both equally.... go with CP!!

I vote for the Crystal Palace!! We did the PSB in January with our DD10 and it was fine for her, but I don't think most teens would enjoy it. We did the Crystal Palace several years ago with both daughters (older DD was 16 at the time); both DD's LOVED it!!!! The food is good, the atmosphere is lovely and the characters are wonderful. Pooh & Eeyore were soft and cuddly; Tigger was a playful and quite a prankster!! ;)

The food at the CP is awsome at breakfast. It is also one of the few character breakfasts where I didn't feel rushed. I love the french toast. They have yummy fruit, made to order omlettes, and my DH loves the breakfast lasagna. The CP wins my vote hands down.

We were 5 adults and didn't feel odd at all at the PSB! The people around us included 3 tables with small children (boys and girls) and 4 that were only adults! One was a single woman, who brought a book to read while she dined. I'm confused about the comments about the little girls... not at all our experience!

We LOVED the PSB, and the princesses, but I must admit none of us care about any of the other characters, like Pooh. Just the face characters. =) As teenagers, we only did face ones too (Mary Poppins and Alice at 1900 Park Fare) =) Guess it depends on what you want...

We also enjoyed the food! Wonderful experience all around, and we got great pictures!

My 16 y/o daughter was with us at the Crystal Palace breakfast a couple of weeks ago. She loved the food and also the characters. I think she took pictures with all of them! She ate about 3 platesfull of food, too! (Tiny, little size 3 thing, where does she put it all?!)

I would have to say hands down, the Crystal Palace was a winner in her book, and she would love to go back!

My DD is a Pooh fanatic, so that is how we made our choice last trip when she was 9. I think teens would have more fun with the costumed characters than the face princesses. Actually we've been to several Princesses breakfasts and some of those girls can have an attitude. We got a really snotty Snow White once.
