DD wants a princess birthday for her 3rd birthday party later this month. She is quite girly and loves everything pretty and pink. ;) I want her to have a fun party with the theme of her choice...she deserves that. We are just having a little party here at home with grandparents and my best friend.

However, all of the kids coming will be boys (just DS (5) and my best friend's two boys - 5 and almost 3). Does anyone have any ideas for things I can do that gives DD her girly princess party but still have things that won't drive the boys insane? I am really at a loss here.

Knight jousting with pillows?

Go to burger king and ask for the crowns. Then spray paint them gold. That way they are princes! lol

Worked for the boys at our party.

HTH

:lmao: Just seems to be such a girly thing. Cute. How about a Pirates and Princess party? She can be ALL PINK and super special. The boys will not enjoy princess anything for fear of cooties at that age. pirate: princess:

I like the pirates theme, or princes, but pirates win out now huh!

We just went to a party for a little girl. It was a pirate and princess party. All the girls wore there princess dresses and boys came dressed as pirates. It turned out really cute.

DD can be the Princess and the boys can be Knights in her court.

They don't have do do all the exact same things, just similarly themed things.

They could all gallop on horses (maybe race?) or play joust.

They could all make crowns or DD could make a crown or tiara while the boys make helmets or swords.

A pinata could be shaped like a castle and they could hit it with swords.

They could all decorate their own cupcakes. So DD could make hers all pretty and pink and the boys can make theirs dark (chocolate).
