Hello, we are leaving in a few days and my daughter has two requirements...1) See Ariel and 2) see Belle. So, are they still posted in their spots in front of the castle or does this only take place in the Princess Faire area? They used to switch out every so often in four areas in front of the castle. I think Ariel still has her special spot. Can anyone fill me in please?

Thank You princess:

Belle is the one princess I see more often than any of the others so Im sure you wont have any worries there...however, you know you could take her to Ariel's Grotto restaurant in DCA and see both...its a sit down character lunch or dinner...not to fond of the food but your not really there because of the food  stick with hamburger :rotfl: also, the Ariel there has her legs :goodvibes ...will need to make PS reservations at 714-781-3463 for this one...

I was going to recommend the meal, too. I actually really enjoyed the chix. pot pie that I had when Zoe and I went. And she, as usual got chix. strips! She was oddly very excited about getting her own little carrot and celery "salad" with ranch dressing.
We got to see many princesses during dinner the night we were there. We saw Cinderella, Jasmine, Ariel, Snow White, Belle and one more, but for the life of me I can't remember which one.....
She had quality time with each. Enough time to talk a bit, get a signature and picture with each one and have no issues with other people pushing her out of the way.

You see her more then anyone because she is ALWAYS on the move. She does not stand in one place like the other princesses. You literally have to walk during your meet and greet / photo with her. Cinderella was actually joking about it during our May trip.

maybe she did with your trip but when we went in March as well as May she was over by the bank for a bit and then we saw her at the Plaza Pavillion and both places she was taking pics and signing autographs not walking...but I have noticed this is happening with most of the princesses on main st now...Sleeping Beauty and Snow White did exactly like you pointed out...my god daughter actually got to walk with SB for a little ways by herself before we even took a picture or had her sign the book :goodvibes

I found Snow White and Aurora near the beautiful wishing well and grotto area (on the right of the castle??) in DL in June. This is such an amazing spot to meet the Princesses and it makes for wonderful photos. And that Wishing Well talks... isn't that something?

Sigh, Disneyland...sigh!!

We saw 2 princesses while we were there last week.....Cinderella with Prince Charming and Fairy Godmother were all by the castle and Belle was in the area right before Mainstreet one morning at opening.

Many of the CM's will have a guide, and can let you know when and where to go to hunt down the princesses each day - I know we bugged many on our trips and they have always been very useful on giving us tips.

not really. our guide just says Disney Princess, like what i posted on #3. though Ariel is a definite at Triton Garden.

I seen random, even Mary Poppin and thats about it... i havent seen much of Snow white though, but i have seen Bell walk around.

Also, be sure to check for times and which princess will be at story time. Its in the shop in Fantasyland. Its usually at 11, 12 and 1 (or maybe it's on the 1/2 hour?). One princess and a helper- she tells her own story. Its is really fun, and they do pictures and autographs after.

I've had the fish and chips three different times and its always been good. The desserts that come with the meal are also very good, all for under $20 for adults. I'll be taking my daugther there once again on Dec. 11th, her birthday.
