Prince Charmsalot to Accompany the Damsels This Trip But You Must Pose w/ Princesses

Joining in!

I'm excited to read about your plans. Everything sounds great and I can't wait to read your next set of dining reviews!

Oh, and I love the story about being Grand Marshals in the parade! What a great idea to get pictures with CMs that helped make the trip magical.

Hi Megan! Thanks for joining. :) I can't wait to eat all the food so I can do a dining review! :thumbsup2

I hope we keep adding to the inventory of CMs that have been pretty amazing!

I can't believe you are going next month! I can't wait for you food report:goodvibes

I laughed when you said your husband would rather have been watching Swamp People. My boyfriend loves that show.

Yay for Photopass +! I am seriously seriously considering getting that but we aren't really taking a long trip so I don't know if it will be worth it.

Rachel, even though we have a longer trip I still had to debate the photopass + option. What finally made me decide is the ride photos that are added. I usually buy about 5-6 per trip so at $18+ per photo (with AP discount) it makes it worth it. The character meals will just be an added bonus.

I forgot to ask if you were going to have a costume for the MNSSHP ? If so, have you decided on anythign in particular? I suppose there is plenty of time to decide. ::yes::

I have this ridiculous problem with buying cheap vacation clothing! I do my pre-trip shopping at Ross, Marshalls, Forever 21 and any other discount clothing store that has cheap shorts, Ts and sundresses. Oh, and gotta love $1.50 flip flops at Old Navy when they are on sale... I think I have a total of 9 pairs of various colors of flip flops from that place! :scratchin

But then I go to Disneyland park and see cute purses, Ts and loungwear and I go crazy all over again. So this trip I am trying to control my urges but thus far my guest room closet has 6 new sundresses, 7 new tops, and 1 very cool pair of sunglasses. (My middle son worked for Oakley so I had free sunglasses for years but he no longer works there so I have to buy my own! :()

An idea of past vacation shopping:

Our other pre-trip ritual involves getting our hair cut! I confess, I only get my hair cut about once every 10 months or so. In between cuts I chop off my split ends and trim my bangs myself. So by the time 10 months or so have passed, I REALLY need a cut by someone who knows how to use a pair of scissors! :lmao:

And finally, we go get our toes done! A little pedicure so that our flip flop wearing feet will be presentable!

Ha ha.. you know that comment about I love to take photos.. yep, photos of our feet!

So there you have it! You know what we'll be doing this weekend!

We plan to visit all the parks with a greater emphasis on MK. (My favorite!) I also plan to stop by and say hi to at least one CM that is doing the DCP at one of the Frontierland attractions! (Hi there Betsy)

Oh my gosh. I can't believe I just found this! I'm so honored to be mentioned in your trip plans :worship: :lmao:

It sounds like you have such a lovely trip planned with so many wonderful places to eat at. I've always wanted to stay at The Boardwalk, so I can't wait to hear your thoughts on it. I'll be sure to let you know my work schedule as soon as it's posted (usually 2 weeks in advance). Can't wait to meet you and your family!! :goodvibes

Oh yes! Congrats on getting to be Grand Marshalls! It is such an amazing experience. My family was chosen to be Grand Marshalls in the Celebrate a Dream Come True Parade on August 13, 2009. It was quite the magical moment and our favorite Disney memory ever!!! And we were chosen by the same cast member! I love my job at Splash, but his job must be even better :cloud9:

Looking forward to hearing more about your plans! :woohoo:

How fun! I'm joining in!! Your plans look great :thumbsup2
Hi there! Thanks for joining in! :)

Sounds like a great weekend!! Have a wonderful time!!! :goodvibes

Ahhhh yes! I just did some on-line shopping - not nearly as satisfying but it serves the same purpose! ;)

Aww what a fun weekend! I love your Artist Point dress!

Thanks! It was a cheap Forever21 dress. :thumbsup2

Betsy!!!!! There you are! :worship: You will have to let me know your hours so we can definitely plan to stop by and say hi! I think we'll have our first day in MK on Sunday 8/19. You can PM me you schedule if you wish. BTW: I've tried to comment on your blog several times but my blogger ID keeps getting refreshed even after I add your URL to the "safe list".... :worried:

Mr. Dean! We LOVE him. That is so awesome to meet someone else that had the same experience! :wizard: I'm so looking forward to giving him a big hug next time. He's the nicest guy and I totally agree - what an amazing job that man has!

Take care and I look forward to seeing you! :goodvibes

Yeah that would be cool to get the ride photots! Especially since my friend likes to ride all of the rides and Corey doesn't. Do you know if they just put the digital copies on your CD or if you get the actual prints right there?

We actually aren't going to MNSSHP. I thought about it but I am upgrading our tickets to PH. I am not sure if my friend would be all for that and I don't want to waste money. But maybe we can dress up on our Halloween flight!

I believe you just add the digital image to your photopass. I'm used to purchasing the actual ride photo but I think this is different. I'll have to let you know.

Aha, now I understand. Upgrading to PH is a great investment alone!

Take care!

Loving the PTR so far! We are just going to miss each other - I am leaving BLT on 8/17! Love all of your ADRs - as for the first day, Big River Grille is super good, so don't miss it if you're going to be at BWV.

I will definitely PM you my schedule. I'm sure I'll be working on the 19th, since I always work on the weekends. No worries about commenting... silly blog :upsidedow My Mom has also tried to comment, but it wouldn't work either :confused3

Yes, my family just loves Dean too! It's amazing that we can both share such a wonderful experience. Could you imagine if we had gotten to be Grand Marshalls together?! :woohoo:

Have a Magical Day! :goodvibes

Well hello there Brenda :goodvibes
I just hopped over following the link in your signature on the dining boards :thumbsup2

LINDA!! Hi there my fellow dining board friend!!! Thanks for "finding me" :worship:

Ha! My job is pretty sweet!

Loved your Grand Marshal story! :goodvibes

Thanks Alysa!

Darn those dining reviews that make me second guess my choices and ultimately convince me that my original plan is nowhere near ideal! You guys know who you are! [Jabead, Donalddolewhip, Linda67 among the principle offenders. And Betsy with her ice-cream treats! Yum!]

Since DH said that he didn't want Mexican food on vacation (we eat it frequently here at home), my first swap was easy.... La Hacienda was getting crossed off the list. I'll have to have the Botana app another time.

What did I choose??

So many wonderful choices.....

So many places we have not tried.......

What did I say in my original dining line up DH would really like?

One of our favorites due to the smokey portabello soup.....

Yes, Artists Point!!! :lovestruc

I think Michael will love this place and Em was pretty happy to see it find its way back into our dining line up. :thumbsup2

I've re-booked the time of some of our dinners but haven't made any major changes. Keep in mind, none of this would be a problem if we had 7 or 8 more days at WDW!!!

I'm tempted to fill in some of our counter service options with some new places. However, I know us well enough that many of these would end up being cancelled since we are already stretching it!

Although I'm happy in theory with all of our ADRs there's still one more elusive place to try that just doesn't seem to fit into our schedule. "Next time" will be my mantra. ::yes::

Love Artist Point - great choice :thumbsup2

My tip, arrive early and have a nice pre-dinner cocktail in the Territory Lounge :goodvibes
