Prime time or Sci-Fi???

We had lunch at Sci-Fi on our recent trip to WDW in April. Our ADR was messed up (we were told it was Tuesday, their computers said Wednesday) but they were great and got us right in, even though they were packed. We loved the atmosphere and the milkshakes were the best I have ever had in all my 37 years. I had the chicken sandwich and it was fantastic. The chocolate tart for dessert was so good. We did 50's for dinner the year before and it was good too, we weren't able to get an ADR for this year.. Oh well.

On our next trip in April '08 we plan on doing both, one for lunch and the other for dinner.

If you are taking children, I think Sci-Fi would be the best choice. I was planning our November trip and was trying to decide between the two for lunch on our MGM day. We have been to both so I asked the kids:

1. Which place did you like best: Sci-Fi
2. Which place had the best food: Prime Time
3. Which place do you want to go to: Sci-Fi

I guess for them it really isn't about the food. :confused3 But Sci-Fi it is for us.

Oh. I guess I didn't realize that. So then, it sounds like this would be kind of awkward for a family of 3.?

If you sit in a car it's two by two, but they also have "picnic tables" that you can sit at if there's only three & you don't want to be "split up".

here's a pic:

We ate at the Prime time for lunch and Sci-Fi for dinner. We liked both very much. I like the atmosphere overall the best in Prime-Time. Our waitress was very funny. The Sci-Fi was nice also but I was a little cramped in the cars. But if you do have kids take them to Sci-Fi
