prime rib question

last Saturday we went to a restaurant to celebrate my mothers 89th birthday........I had a 14 ounce English Cut prime rib......I had it RARE.......well some at our table said it was mooing still ......how do you like your prime rib......this also had a nice garlic flavor to it too

If it's a very good quality, tender, prime rib, I order medium.
Otherwise, I order it medium rare.

I usually order mine extra rare. And then proceed to tell the server that when I stab the steak with my fork, I want it to moo and try to run off the plate.

Now that's a perfect way to cook prime rib.

I like it when one of our friends tells a server to have the cook run it by the grill to scare it. Then it'll be done perfectly.

Thanks for asking! She's getting sick of living away from home, but she's holding physically. I'm hoping to levy an update later today or tomorrow. I got yelled at when I went two weeks without one. Four weeks from tomorrow, if the lungs are fully developed, we're off to the races. It's about as mentally taxing as anything I've been through in my life (short of my masters thesis, which was boring more than anything else), but no one gives me sympathy when I say I'm not sleeping. The general comment: enjoy getting that two hours a night while you still can.

Note: the woman orders her Prime Rib well done. Must be hormones. Why would anyone nuke marbled beef?

I always order my steaks well done. All cuts. When it's served & I cut into it and it's pink it seems to taste really good. In other words I order it well done but seem to like it medium.
