Pricing Confusion

I was pricing out the Poly during Christmas week. Still hoping for the discount for Chistmas week a few have posted, but no luck yet. No way I will pay rack rate.

One thing doesn't make sense. I priced out 12-26-09 through 1-3-10 on the Disney site and it quoted $580 per night plus tax. Holiday season ends on 12-31-09 for deluxe resorts. Why didn't the site quote 12-26-09 thu 12-31-09 at $580 plus tax and the rate drop from 1-1-10 thu 1-3-10 to the vaule rate of $355 plus tax?

I think that I read somewhere that the value rates don't start in 2010 until later, no longer on the 1st as in year's past.

ETA: I just checked on mousesavers and it states that Value does not start until January 3rd--the 1st and 2nd are considered "New Years".
