Pricing at Boma's:per person or per item?

We have a dinner reservation at Bomas for our upcoming trip. I was under the impression it was an all you can eat buffet for $26.99 per person.A friend told me I am mistaken,the charge is per item. Is this true?

Boma is an all-you-can-eat buffet; it is not an ala carte restaurant. It is a wonderful restaurant with great food! Enjoy!

It is per person all you can eat. If it had been per item I would be paying for my meal there for the next 30 years .

Your friend probably was thinking about Jiko, which is in the same area as Boma. Even if that was true, Jiko is priced by entree, not by item. Restaurants that price by item are like Schulas or Ruths Chris ( a la carte ).

God help us if they start charging per item at Boma's !?! This is a "must do" for us each trip !

Be hungry!! There are so many wonderful choices. The soups are outstanding, and the meats are delicious. Save room for desserts--the zebra domes & chocolate hazelnut crunch (OMG!!!) are my favorites.
