I was just looking at the Atlantis Submarine Excursion and the prices are $75 for adults and $50 for kids!!!!

I found the same trip on Atlantis Submarines Grand Cayman for $69 and $34 for kids!!! They didn't add much to the adult tickets but thats $16 per kid!!! For our family of 4, it will cost $44 more to book the same excursion with Disney:confused:

Is there any benefit to doing it with them rather than direct and saving the money??

We tried booking the Atlantis Sub on our own and found out its already booked
by the cruise lines and we couldn't book on our own. We had to go though disney
to get the reservations and it was 75 p/p including kids, although don't know the
ages of your kids. We took the sub in St Thomas. Gary

If you book through DCL and are delayed returning to the ship, the ship will wait for you or DCL will pay to get you to the next port. To me that's $44 of peace of mind.

Is there local transportation included?

I can't put a price on this, but I can understand a small markup for the work Disney has to do in setting up the excursions for their passengers.
