Prices of POP? EEK

OK. who put the price of pop up?

We went over to Sobeys tonight to pick up a few things. I HAD to get some coke(pop) they have it up $1.99. Luckly when we went to pay, its on sale for $1.49. I guess we will be stocking up at Walmart when its 99 cents.

I love my coke Zero but at all the grocery stores it's gone up nearly a dollar for a case of 12! It's still cheaper to buy it buy the case in cans, but geez!

The price went up here to but the very next week it went on sale for what used to be the regular price

It seems that everytime the gas prices have a big flux the price of Pop goes up. I still can remember a case of 24 ( do they even make those anymore) of Coke or Pepsi being 4.99. Now that's the price of 12 often.

Yes they do have cases(actually called 'flats') of 24. More common to see the 24 cubes. I know this cause I happen to work for a major pop supplier. Won't say which one but it starts with a 'P' and ends with an 'I'

We who deliver it have noticed the increase also and feel the same pain. And before you think we get it free, we pay pretty much the same as you.They tell us cans are more expensive to produce and the profit margin isn't good on them so they don't discount them to us. Shoppers still has their 3 12pks for $11.00 and I saw Loblaws with 3 for $10.00 today. Best deals can be found in 710ml as Sobeys will probably put them on again in the summer. 6pk for $1.99 I believe. 6-710ml bottles is equal to 12-355ml cans in total volume plus you can put the cap back on

I think Dominion has them on sale for $0.99 this week but left my flyers in the car!

I was at A&P yesterday and they had 4 ~ 12 packs for $12 ~ good deal these days!

When he got electrocuted! He was so lucky to survive!
He's a great guy! THey used to live around the corner from me and their son was in my daughter's classes at school.
I was really sad when they moved away!
