Hi All!
I know that market forces set prices, but I am surprised at the prices asked for point transfers. It appears to average around $10 per point. Let's say someone wants 102 points for a 2 night (Fri & Sat in the summer @ 51 per night) stay in a 1BR at BLT. Assuming one could get the exact 102 points transferred in, that would take $1,020.00. One can get a rack-rate room reservation direct for Disney for that price. And, they way they discount, maybe even less as the date nears. There just doesn't seem to be the incentive to transfer-in points.
I get that people want at least cover their annual dues, but assuming that dues average around $5.00 per point, $10 per point $eems like a lot. And, the $15 from DVC seems even worse!!!
