We are a family of 7 adults, 3 kids, and 1 child under 3. When we booked our staterooms on 10/4/2004 for our 7/8/2006 cruise they were priced (all from DCL) as follows:
Cat 6 #1 (2 ad, 1 ch) $5721.39
Cat 6 #2 (2 ad, 1 in) $4746.39
Cat 8 #1 (1 ad, 2 ch) $4681.39
Cat 8 #2 (2 ad) $3574.26
Total = $18723.43
Now, the prices are as follows:
Cat 6 #1 (2 ad, 1 ch) $7778.39
Cat 6 #2 (2 ad, 1 in) $6199.39
Cat 8 #1 (1 ad, 2 ch) $6438.39
Cat 8 #2 (2 ad) $4772.26
Total = $25148.43
I'd say $6425 is a great early booking discount for all of these, and we still have just less than a year to go till this cruise date. But, it gets better. Add, well, a lot more savings because we transferred our reservations to Dana @ MICDAN.COM. I'm not going to start throwing the numbers she gave me on here suffice to say it is significant, but if you're interested, PM me.
Anyone else seen this much of a jump when they've cruised?
