Just seen that Virgin Holidays has room only holidays for 2015 up on their websites. It includes the prices for DVC resorts such as SSR and OKW. It's a bit odd but for some reason their prices are coming up quite a bit cheaper than booking direct; 2 weeks in POR being £1822 with Virgin but £2002 with Disney :confused3

Too early to be considering room only IMO.
Hopefully from April free dining will be around if that is of interest, if not room only deals usually follow when free dining has ended.

I am looking for a week after our cruise this Sept(20-27th) I can book AKL with Expedia for £711 or £101/nt Put the same dates in VH website for 2015 and it is wanting £1223 or £175/nt.

Have you checked Hotels.com lately, Wayne? I was on there a couple of nights ago looking for a one night room only at CR/BLT during our stay and they had some amazing prices, with places like BC, YC, SSR and OKW coming up for less than I paid for POFQ. I didn't look at AKL as I specifically wanted a resort where we could walk from MK to miss the bus chaos on a particular night, but TCB and Quidco have about 10% cashback on top of that.

Same company & same prices Lee, Hotels.com LP is an affiliate of Expedia, Inc. Bith have recently had 12% cashback deal but now dropped to 8%.

Booked twice thru Hotels.com recently, both times cashback declined (once with an authorised code, other with no code) yet Expedia never had a problem with cashback (guess what will happen now:rotfl:)

We would have a car anyway so wouldn't use buses but I think we have decided to stay offsite as we are not doing Disney in Sept (July for Disney) For £40/nt we can stay here http://www.tripadvisor.co.uk/Hotel_...iews-Rosen_Shingle_Creek-Orlando_Florida.html
Or our preferred location of LBV, Homewood suites by Hilton are £40/nt, they include cooked daily breakfast and managers reception 4nts a week with free meal & alcohol, might not take the freebies but they are there. wish I could make a choice.:goodvibes

I didn't even know it was the same company :rotfl:

I had no issues with Cashback from Hotels.com in the past, but will be more cautious in the future now if the same offer is on Expedia, because Expedia cashback seems to clear and pay quite fast compared to other sites, from my recent experience with them. Maybe I got lucky with hotels.com in the past. :)
