Hey everyone! I have a question for those of you "in the know" about the Minnie and Friends Breakfast in the park. I was considering pre-purchasing the tickets for it on getawaytoday, but they are $33 for adults and $17 for kids on that site. Upon looking at the menu for Minnie's on Allears, I saw that January 2012 prices were something like $23 for adults and $12 for kids. For anyone who's been recently, what were the prices when you were there? Although I do like to have everything taken care of beforehand for these kind of things, it would be a HUGE difference in cost if it really IS that much cheaper at the restaurant right now. We have 4 adults and 2 kids going, so with the getawaytoday price, it would be $166, while the allears listed price, would put us at $116. Convenience of having tickets beforehand is NOT worth 60 bucks in my book! lol Do the prices change at different times of the year? TIA for the help! :upsidedow

Are you going to get an Annual pass? because if so you will get a discount at the restaurant and i wouldnt pre buy. I think that vouvher is a good deal if you plan on doing Goofys or Ariels but then again you wont get hte discont if you have an AP.

The prices do vary seasonally. I took myself and my two girls in early November. After my 10% AP discount, the total was just under $50 (maybe $48 or $49 and change). Since it's a buffet, you still have tax, but no gratuity. I believe then it was in the $24 range for adults and $13 range for the girls. It will be a couple of dollars higher during peak season.

The DIS (and allears) has the correct current pricing

Minnie & Friends $23.99/11.99

However, the price will increase for the "summer" (3/16/12 - 8/19/12) up to $27.99/13.99.

If that's the case then I got hosed by AAA. I got a good deal on tickets and decided to add the Minnie's CB on and was charged $33 adult $17 child

Oh well live and learn. And it's paid for so one more expense not to worry about when I'm there. But now I know for next time!

This same thing happened to me back in November. I had booked through disney reservations when we booked our room and they had a much higher charge for Goofy's Kitchen. I called back later when I was looking on the menu and saw a lower price. They told me through disney that it included taxes and tip and a drink, but I cancelled through them anyway, especially since I was planning on getting the AP before I went to GK. When I paid, I got the discount and the drink and tax tip were still included, so I really did feel like I was getting hosed through disney reservations.

You could always pre pay by purchasing a Disney Gift Card *you can even add $$ to a DGC by calling 800-362-4533 *you give the CM your credit/debit card info and they mail you the receipt. Last time I did this *a couple months ago* the $$ was on the GC the next day. I prefer to have 1 card instead of several, be sure to write down/email your card # and pin in case you lose your card, with that info it can be replaced.
