Prices at the HoJo gift store/market?

Anyone who has stayed at HoJo recently, did you check prices at the little hotel market?
Specifically, how do the prices look for sandwich fixings, milk and cereal...basics like that?

Gosh, I don't remember specific prices, but then we didn't buy much there. Just some pop and a snack or two, so i wasn't really comparison shopping. But I'd say it's like buying stuff at a convenience store. You know, like how 7-11 will charge you more than a grocery store.

If you want to pick up a bunch of groceries for your stay, you can order from Albertsons online, and they will deliver to your hotel the day of your arrival. Just ask for the hour and a half window of time about when you expect to be checking in, or just before. The front desk will hold it for you. They even put our groceries up in our room for us before we got there-- but I'd specially requested that, and they weren't too busy.

The only thing we have purchased there is milk. It was about $2 and that was for an individual size bottle type....

We bought bread, peanut butter and jelly there. The bread was like 3.99 I believe. We buy lots of milk. They do sell the jugs that are lager than typical individual sizes, but they were like 1.99 each. We ended up with these since Target was out of the 1/2 gallon size when we went.

How far is Target from HOJO? Is it in walking distance?

According to google maps: It is exactly 2.5 miles south on Harbor (right past the Garden Grove hotels).

IMO Target is just a little far to walk to. I was rather happy that we had a car.
