I'm so excited we had reserved a room at Hard Rock Hotel for 10/12 to 10/15 @ $117.50 a night with our Entertainment Book. We wanted to save money because its our honeymoon and we wanted a long vacation, so I bid on priceline, too. We got
3 star hotel Sheraton Studio City for the first 3 nights and will stay at HRH for the remainder. The sucessful bid was on 4 or 3 star hotel for Disney vicinity or Seaworld / Universal area. Final 50.00 with tax 171.46 for 3 nights. The plus of saving money will allow us to go to several more parks. First time bidder at priceline whoo hoo! Let me know if you have any comments on this hotel. So far what I've read I'm optimistic. <IMG WIDTH="15" HEIGHT="15" SRC="/infopop/emoticons/icon_razz.gif" alt="razz">

No comments on the hotel, but Priceline has saved us a bundle too! We'll be making our 7th trip to WDW soon and we've used Priceline for 5 of them. I expect that our average savings per trip is about $350 for hotel alone. We've also gotten great deals from them for rental cars. I've tried them for air tix in the past but my bids were never accepted at or near what I could get with Southwest or ATA so I just stick with sure flight times and go directly with the carrier.

Enjoy your honeymoon. My husband and I first went to WDW for our honeymoon in 1993 and we go back every chance we get, especially now that we have a family.

Thanks for the nice wishes. If you have any recommendation for dining let me know. Also have you been to Epcot or Animal Kingdom? Sea World?
These are the only parks we haven't gone to and I'd like to get opinions on must sees. Thanks.

All of the attractions/rides at the beginning of EPCOT (before the World Showcase) are must-sees for us each time we go as well as the fireworks at night. They used to have a Tapestry of Nations parade which was wonderful but I think that's over. We've done World Showcase a couple of times, but our kids don't really get into it.

We've haven't been to SeaWorld since 1993 and I understand alot has changed since then and we've never been to AK. We hope to get there during our November trip.

my DH and I stayed there last year and it has become my favorite non-Disney hotel ever....the staff is wonderful and the decor just plain neat!

Glad to hear of the priceline successes. I've been too chicken myself. But I'm wondering, how do you know whether you're going to get a room large enough to accommodate you? For example, there are 2 adults and 4 kids ages 8 and under. What happens if we get a room with only a king?
