I need a hotel room for one night before checking into the Swan. What is an appropriate bid for a 4* hotel in the WDW area?? What are the possibilities??? Also what would be an a good bid for a 3* and what are the possibilities???

and I alo wondered about maybe just going to AS. What rates do they have in June. I have an AP and DC card???

MickeyFan:

Here's a link that incldues a list of the hotels that Priceline has. It's not complete, but it will give you an idea of the places that people have been getting. I would recommend that you bid on a 4*, 3* or 2.5*: http://wdwinfo.infopop.net/OpenTopic/page?q=Y&a=tpc&s=40009993&f=35009194&m=463092529

How much you spend on a hotel depends when you go and on availability. I've seen people getting the Wyndham Palace (a 4*) for $35 (plus $20 AMEX bonus money) for May. I've also seen people getting the same hotel for over twice that amount.

To get the best price from Priceline, you need to understand how to bid properly. Travel Sheryl's board is the place to go to learn how:
