I'm only spending one night with the kids. I have a reservation at Carousel Inn and suites. We've stayed there before and it's fine for us. We like being able to walk. I got the room for $99 plus tax. My sister is going at another time and got a room on priceline at the Crowne Plaza for $40.
My question is this: Is it worth it to try and get a priceline room? Once you add in the taxes/fees, potential parking fees, plus either parking at Mickey and Friends, or the inconvenience of using the shuttle, I wonder if the extra $30 - $40 I'd be spending is worth it. Of course, the rooms at the priceline hotels are much nicer and since I'm going on a weeknight, the parks close earlier, so Hmmm.
I keep going back and forth. I could use some new opinions, esp. from seasoned Disney travelers.
