Priceline for Sept?

I currently have Alamo for a full size for 11 days for 325, at the airport. Never used Priceline before, but very tempted to try using like 14/day, which would total about 254 with taxes. My concerns are- what if our flight is delayed, or if there is a hurricane delay, or if we are given Hertz (offsite & we have a coveted dinner ADR 2 hrs 20 min from landing)? Do we lose our $ if there is a delay & how likely are we to get Hertz...if they even accept 14/day. Don't know if its worth the 71 savings to have ot take a shuttle for the car.
