priceline for airfare??

Has anyone used priceline for airline tickets.How does it work.Did you like what you got.

Assuming your trip is still many months away you are better off watching the airlines for sales and watching these boards. PL is great if you need to purchase a last minute ticket that would other wise cost an arm and a leg.

PL does not allow you pick your airline or travel times. The only thing you get to pick is the days of travel, and you have to agree to connect atleast once. Also they could put you on the first or last flghts of the day which may or may not work into your travel plans. For example they could put you on the 7AM departure out of MCO. You would essentially lose the last day of your vacation that way.

AND they could put you on a 9:00p flight going to MCO, you could lose the FIRST and LAST day of your vacation. There are so many discount airlines and fare sales to Orlando I'd look at alternate ways to save money.

If you're having trouble getting good airfare try flying into Tampa.

Well the airfare is for august 10 and it's for my SIL who puts everything off.I found her all kinds of cheap stuff in March but she just let it go by.She's making me very mad.My trip is all paid for and now she keeps calling me every night about airfare.So now she's thinking of using priceline so I'm trying to help her.I don't think that she cares about losing days at all she keeps shortening her trip anyway.I really wish they would stay home.I'm worried they will ruin our trip now.Oh well I'll tell her that priceline will be ok for them since she wants everything cheaper then what i can find it for.Thanks All\
