FYI- Alamo accepted my bid for a car rental for $14 a day. The rental starts this weekend.

Nine days = $182 tax inclusive.

What size car did you request? The best I could find for next Nov. was $205 incl. taxes for 9 days for a midsize thru Dollar with the KISS2 promo code.

Have you used PL for rental cars before? I'm afraid they'll stick me with an off-terminal company. It's good that you got Alamo. have a great time!

This is the first time we've used PL for anything. We requested an economy/compact as that is what we're used to using. Besides, we always seem to end up with a free upgrade because they're out of small cars.

I would wait on booking your rental car. You'll get much better deals as you get closer to your travel dates.

I know it's far off still I like to book and if I find a better deal I book again and cancel the old one. It's better than kicking myself later that I didn't jump on a good deal.
Last trip I rebooked about 10 times. Yes, it's a little compulsive but works for me!
