I love priceline, but have never used it when I need a one night stay in Buffalo before flying the next morning. We've often stayed at the Sleep Inn across the road from the airport for about $114-$121 a night including 2 weeks parking. For those of you who use priceline for your hotel, do you then park directly at the airport? What is your total price (for hotel & parking during your trip? I'm looking for strategies! TIA!

I've never used Priceline for a Buffalo hotel. I have used them for other places though.
The best deal I found was through threads here that recommended a site called Trinity Reservations. I stayed at the Staybridge Suites which was about 10 minutes from the airport. Shuttle was free and prompt both ways, breakfast was offered but we left too early to use it (4:00 a.m.), hotel was clean and safe, and parking was free for 14 days. All in it cost us 120 for a Friday night:thumbsup2

It's even cheaper some nights. I just checked for our fly out date in February and the same deal is $96 all in.

I was hesitant because I was unfamiliar with the hotel and website. However, many people here gave positive reviews and I am happy we tried it. It will be our park and fly option for all of our trips.

Wow, thanks for the Trinity Reservations tip. I'm not sure how I missed it on these boards. It's $98 for our dates too, which is definitely the best I've seen. Definitely worth considering, thanks!

The one that I have read the most about for Buffalo on Priceline, is the Buffalo/Amhearst Marriott. I have done it twice. It is the only 3.5 (or 3 stars) I can't remember in that area. So you would have to check off Amhearst area. It includes free parking up to 2 weeks when you stay! I need a room with 2 beds when we stay and with Priceline they only have to guarantee 1 bed. So I always call the hotel after winning the bid and ask for a 2 queen room and they make a notation in my file! It has worked out well for me!

Thanks, that's good to know! Is there a free shuttle to and from the airport? Do you know how far it is from the airport approximately?

Yes they have a free shuttle ( besides a tip) It is about 10 mins from the airport! It doesn't seem bad though as the shuttle is fairly quick.
