Priceline bid finally accepted for 3* 12/7-12/9

Well finally something was accepted. I begin my disney stay on 12/9 but when I booked this trip in mid Sept all reasonable rooms ($250 and below) on Disney property were already booked for my first 2 nights. I decided several nights ago to begin bidding for my first 2 nights 12/7 and 12/8 on priceline and then did my homework on the hotel websites and other travel sites and many hotels were already booked (Hilton and Gaylord). I started bidding Disney vicinity resort level at $75 and continued through $95 with no bids accepted (someone did get the Omni for $130 in late Dec. but I didn't want to be that far from Disney property). I then decided to go ahead and try bidding for a 3* and bid once for $44 which wasn't accpeted. I did more research on 3* hotel websites in Disney vicinity and the cheapest that I could find one of the hotels for was $69. I was hoping to get the Best Western in DTD but got Radisson Resort in Celebration which is fine as my first night is a late arrival and we will just be sleeping and the next day I'll be at DTD or shopping souvenir shops in Kissimmee. I first bid tonight at $46 and a counteroffer came back stating if bid $59 a hotel would accept so I was just happy to get something finally accepted as this trip is approaching quickly and I am just ready to be there.

According to mousesavers.com, Radisson charges a $10 daily service fee, too.

[Not so Dumbo]

I did priceline for 12/1 and got BWLBV for $69. I booked that back in the first part of October.

Not so Dumbo you got a pretty good deal for the date you got. I was hoping to get BW as well but it didn't happen. Have fun.
