Interesting. I am not debating the "value" of a Disney vacation, since that is really determined by those who pay for the trip. In those types of threads, we often talk about how much the cost has gone up for a Disney trip. Prices were adjusted for inflation.

I assume this isn't accounting for that apparently you had to buy ticket books to go on attractions in the early years. However it's obvious since 2005 and more so since 2016 the prices have far outpaced inflation

They do mention purchasing the ticket books separately in the article. I found rhe article interesting since there are always threads where we estimate how much prices have increased.

Wow. I read somewhere that a few decades ago you could go to Disney for 10 hours of work but now it’s 51 days or something like that.
