Price of taxi from park to HoJo

We will be going to DL next month and staying at HoJo.

Are there taxi's right outside the park?

We are 3 adults and one child, how much would it be for that short trip?

We will be going for opening and staying till close, we will be pretty exhausted by the end of the night and would like to ride back to the hotel instead of walking.

So if anyone has taken a taxi from the park to their hotel, how much was it?

I don't know the price, but there is a taxi stand on just beyond the shuttle area, right on Harbor. FYI once you get to the taxis, you'll be about half way to Hojos.

Well I guess thats really not worth it then.

From what I hear, its about a 7-10 min walk.

A few minutes of that walk is waiting at a LONG traffic light. It really isn't bad at all.

You can also take ART (Anaheim Resort Transit?) for $3 a day unlimited rides if you want to take breaks and go back to your hotel or ride it to the park in the morning. Probably cheaper than taking a taxi, if you don't want to walk.

I think the longest park of the walk is actually from the park to the taxi area. Once you get beyond that first crosswalk (just past the taxi area), the crowds really ease up and it is kind of nice to just hear the DL music playing in the background as you trudge back to the hotel. The walk really is not that bad after that point. I would say 1/4 of a mile But I am not very good with judging distance. It is within sight if that helps.

okayby my calculations using google earth from the front gates to the middle of the parking lot of the hojo is just about 1/2 a mile

Here is a link to a google map of the HoJo, which shows South Harbor Blvd and South Manchester Avenue.

When you walk between the HoJo and DL, use the crosswalk at S Manchester Ave.

Leave HoJo, cross at Manchester and walk down the side of Harbor without hotels. When you get to the bus stop on Harbor stay to the inside, walk between the benches and the newspaper dispensers (or whatever those are lol), look to the right, you will see taxis sitting waiting for fares on the other side of the fence, take your first right and cross right there.....you will cut thru shuttle drop off/pick up and that will save you about 3 min. making it a 7 min. walk. Just remember where you are cutting thru so at the end of the day you don't take extra steps. There are 3 shuttle circles, you want the middle one. And yes, if you make it to the taxis you're halfway there, just finish the walk and save your $.

There were some nights I would have paid for a taxi to take me from the gates, to the hotel shuttle waiting area! I saw where the hojo was and personally, I can imagine myself wanting to take a taxi that short distance, but maybe I am just lazy
At any rate, I took a taxi from my hotel to DL one morning. It was about a mile away and the cost was $6. I am guessing they might charge the same or perhaps a bit less. Just make sure you settle on a cost before you get in the taxi

A friend took a taxi from DL to Hojo's one night when her DS was soaking wet and too tired to walk. The price of $7 pops into my head, but I can't recall for sure.
